I have a tip. Try to brake a bit earlier and coast so you can get earlier on the power.(not braking while steering). Especially on the last corner before the straight. You did it few times but the moments you didnt you were losing the blue car. Just a tip

Red Bull Ring is a very demanding track on tyres, really harsh on them with the hard braking zones and altitude changes, the camber on a lot of the corners really strains the tyres. And like you said, a serious amount of power being forced through those back tyres, match them on a damaging track like Red Bull Ring, a full 8 laps of hard, fast, demanding racing is sure to wear them out.
had one of the best races yesterday fighting 3 laps over 2nd place and then he pit-manouvered me on final straight such a shame i woudve lost with pride if that was the case
The racing was fair and fun for you. On the last turn on the first lap all the guys took each other out that were behind you lol. Its in one of your replays.
I have noticed that we are getting a lot less crash fest on the first corner these days. Tonight I was in a 20 car lobby at Spa and we made it through Aue Rouge ,1st, 2nd and 3rd corners with no crashes just a few spin offs. Even with guys going off track there is less of the usual careless rejoin on the racing line too.
Nice. That was a good win. I haven't raced that car yet in PC2 yet. I'll try it out. Love the F40. The listed top speed of 230 mph seems a bit optimistic.

I'm far from the best and still learning, but I get out of the way if I can see the car behind me is far, far faster than I am. Still, I get punted and rammed. Just working on getting my rating up, but then I'll probably be the idiot on track.
Was testin out the GT3s earlier today, and I am actually fairly happy to be able to beat your Ferrari time! By .01s! With baseline, and then tweaking things around and I got to ~24.0X's so keep up the good work and please stay away from Audis they're almost as bad as BMWs 8)
Question: Are there for the most part always lots of multiplayer races to choose from on PC 2 on PC? I am an avid iRacing racer, so just wanting to make sure there are races available and not dead lobbies. Thank you!
Good question, to be honest i havent done a regular lobby race in awhile. I come from iRacing aswell and the best way to play Project Cars 2 is in league racing imo. But last time i checked there were alot of lobbys with players in them

I'm only just getting used to driving without assistance. Anyway, I'm saving for a Fanatic setup. Can you recommend anything. I got about £1, 000 saved so far.
I can only recommend what im using never tried a Fanatec wheel, i love my Thrustmaster TS-PC but id still say the T-300 is a great wheel for the money.
Awesome race. I would have rather seen the replay in the end though, with ur commentary. They kinda take away from the action, hard to watch them while the audi was kinda still right on your tail. Great race though, by all 3 top guys. Especially audi. Love seeing the steady and careful win races.
Dude its not that people don't want to race clean it's just sometimes it's really hard to know when to break. Then people get mad at 1 bump then it's all out war! I'm talking more on the first two turns of a race
A rule of thumb is to always take the first corner at a "tiptoe". In terms of realism, the tires are colder anyway, and won't have the same grip as they will 3-4 laps into a race. Most sims get that pretty accurate (I've never played PC2). Unless I were at a section I know I'm much faster than the car ahead, I'd use the first lap to start getting into my rhythm without trying to overtake. I'm not able to share content, but I've been sim racing since the early 2000s.
You really need to setup your suspension harder and lower... Your Ferrari could have a real edge if it was not "stock" in the Setup! Anyway, nice game, man!
Just saw in your vídeo that it was a fixed setup... So, that was awesome! Also, Niki Lauda said that the Ferrari car for his season handled like shit. If he drove this one, he would say the same, I am sure!
Nah, in that case, Niki was spot on. After Bugatti, Ferrari (and Pagani too) handles like shit, and I agree with him, you know? German Engineering is better, in this case. Audi, BMW... Mercedes... Way better and more reliable cars, if you ask me, and Niki being Austrian... Precision, well-developed car and technology, and a powerful, but tamed car is a must, I think. :) But hey, that is only my take on it. ;)

A lot of the time you can find pretty decent servers if you choose to drive older cars rather than stuff like modern Road A or GT3 cars. The shitters that ruin lobbies aren't into cars and see stuff like GTO, Group 5, Group C, Group A, and stuff like that as old and shitty and don't want to race with them, when you make lobbies with the older style of cars you're mainly just going to be getting legit enthusiasts that will race like non mongoloids. Plus, a lot of these older cars cars are actually way more fun to drive than the modern day GT3 cars.

People just not braking, not giving you space, going full send at the first corner, the list goes on. That´s how the majority of lobbies are sadly. And since this game doesn´t get any support from the devs, nothing will change. After just 3 years, PC2 is already dead sadly.
Physics are, also if you play sims like assetto or rf2 automobilisma then the ffb in this game just plain suck lack of feel of understeer makes you guess what the front end is doing and no feel of brake lock they said it would be fixed after pc1 was released but as I thought its just another case of re skinning pc1 and selling as pc2 just my thoughts like.

I find 15 to be the sweet spot. Any more than that and people get smashed on turn one.

Actually I find it the best in any sim I played so far. Never once crashed because I estimated my speed wrong, contrary to, lets say, Assetto Corsa.
