Your complexion in this is just outrageously good. And your approach to makeup is very much how I approach my wardrobe. I want to get dressed quickly and easily every morning and know that I’ll feel good in my clothes for the day. I have zero time for clothes that I don’t love. ETA This also means I have a very small wardrobe, especially since I’m a fat woman with very specific taste.

I think maybe your general practical and realistic vibe and healthy cynicism about makeup, specifically speaking about your thoughts around how you have such a small collection of foundations whereas other creators seem to keep a lot of foundations might just be personal preferences. You have really great skin and don't focus on foundation as your main makeup product and you focus on pretty eyes or juicy lips instead. Lots of people think of foundation or concealer as their must-have focus product, so they tend to keep lots of them. Us foundation hoarders appreciate the no judgement zone you have here! Just putting in my two cents! I usually think people keep a lot of eyeshadow because I have just a handful since it's just the same old boring taupe in my crease every day and not much experimenting!

i have a confession- i take the halo beauty kiwi supplements……. and i think they help my skin. i’m not saying they’re better than any other vitamins. but they have worked well for me and i see a difference when i stop taking them. but don’t tell anyone
I’ve been to Chicago in winter, which minus my eyeballs feeling frozen, was lovely. I cannot even imagine the heat and the extraordinary levels of humidity that come with your summer. I am also anti-summer so I’m biased 😬
