Enoch is my favorite Prophet. He was a man that started from aplace of insecurity and weakness and received power through the lord.

“And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them. …
“And I, Moroni, having heard these words, was comforted” (verses 26-27, 29).

The Ensign from 1973 for several years after (at least every 2 months until 1977,11 parts so far) has Hugh Nibley's "strange thing in the land of Enoch" series. It's amazing!

I have listened to several scholars and not heard the love of God in their teaching. But this (based on what I could hear) seemed accurate; or at least mutually agreed upon to the extent where the teaching seemed trustworthy. But even more than that, there was liberty among the men sharing the word, which means there was also love "wherever the Spirit of the Lord is..."
It is hard, if not impossible to find such a consensus between this level of accuracy combined with freedom. Based on the evidence, I would think this meeting and the content is being guided by the Lord Himself.

Thank you very much. I have greatly enjoyed the exchanging ideas about the scriptures that are discussed. This is something I've been doing for over three years now. This group always helps me understand a lot of details that would go unnoticed in normal study. Iraja Soares - Recife, Brazil

It's wonderful to listen to scholars discuss the greatest prophets like Enoch and his great works, but no one mentions the elephant that isn't in the room. We just tend to equate Enoch's works with the minimal works of today.

Enoch was born way later according to various Septuagint readings. The early centuries of the church used the Greek. It was suspected that the Jewish people who still did not receive Jesus as Messiah had changed some begetting ages in Genesis in their Hebrew copies for reasons of discrediting Jesus as the fullness of the times which were thought by some to be 5500 years from Adam.
