Had a torsion in high school, the nurse thought it was just a kidney stone so she gave me no pain meds for almost 2 hours, eventually I got some morphine and was taken in for surgery. Needless to say it was an unpleasant experience.
a kidney stone that causes a acute renal colic tops a testicular torsion when it comes to sheer pain, its the moste intense feeling of pain a human is able to feel...so, if the nurse thought its "just" a kidney stone she is a bad human being for letting you sit there for 2 hours
I had testicular torsion a couple weeks ago and can say it was the most painful experience I have ever gone through. I nearly passed out in the bathroom before I crawled my way back upstairs to get my girlfriend to take me to the hospital.
I had a pilonidal cyst removed in July 2016. While it wasn't the most painful thing I've experienced, the trip to the followup the morning after was. I was in so much pain I had to lay on my belly on the floor of our van, which was a bit awkward explaining to the folks checking IDs to get on base. And then exactly a year later. I got another one. At least it wasn't as painful as the first one.
Fun fact: it's rumored that testicular torsion is actually worse than childbirth. I don't like to do comparisons because think men and women's pain are equal but when I found that out I'm surprised.
@@FebruaryHas30Days don't be...yea it's quite painful but endurable...I was 15....was giving an exam and it happened... changing the position once in a while helped and i only felt annoyed by it wasn't like too bad tho

Very understandable, I believe that pains that different genders go through should not be compared. Bc neither can experience that exact pain that the other does. I hate its a battle between which is worse, bc if there weren’t, people would be more understanding of others. And there would be better accommodations for people.

10:18 Believe me when I say this is among THE most painful conditions snyone can experience. I had the initial cyst lanced in A&E and it was the only time in my life I legitimately came off the table screaming for my mother. The surgery wasn't so bad but they had to keep the initial incision open to allow for drainage After almost two months, they removed the stitches and permitted it to heal. I had to wear "depends" diapers the entire time and could barely sit for any length of time. To this day, I cannot lay flat on the floor because the old incision site is irritated by such positioning.
