Not true. Jonesy did eventually overdub guitars at Virgin, but the song was done in Paris. It took several tries to get Sid there, and ready to do it.It was all French musicians who played, and produced the original sessions.
Yes, but Steve actually produced the session and overdubbed some guitar parts. He claims credit for coming up with the idea of transitioning to a fast/punk arrangement for the second half. The original plan was that Sid would just sing it all the way through like the intro part.
I didn't know that Jones says that. I can tell you for a fact that he was physically present only at one of the sessions, and definitely did not play on the basic tracks, or until after Sid had done the vocals.

It's funny, whether Lydon was consciously trying or not, a lot of the stuff he said and wrote way back when stands up pretty damn strong as social commentary today. Henry Paul french guitarist was the guitarist on this version he later played a lot with Johnny thunders
