You make a great Tiefling! We’ll be taking a long rest when this goes live but we look forward to watching this when we wake up! Hopefully our bard Antrius can survive your Cutting Words!
Never have I needed something so much and not realized until I received it. Opera singer, fantasy nerd, and D&D player. Subscribing to this channel was one of the best decisions I've made.
When you point out that Antreus sings perfectly because he has high charisma but not the others, while it is true for Evandra the fighter, you can notice that at the end Nixie actually harmonizes skillfully with him because she's a Sorcerer, another high Charisma class :)
Alessia has an amazing voice. She needs more opportunities to show it. She does nail her comedic timing so fricking well so I understand why the writer/director focuses on that but wow - she has a great voice.
I can attest to the effects singing can have on combat. Many moons ago during a medieval reenactment battle there was pause in the action. To keep people's spirits up, one person walked out in front of the "army" and began to sing a song titled "Born on the List Field". When he got to the chorus, around 800 people joined it. It sent so much adrenaline through my body it was crazy! And the ensuing fight was vicious! :)
Holy crap, I nearly did a spit-take when I saw you were doing this one! I LOVE it, and Deerstalker Pictures' channel has been one of my favorites for years, now. Those cats are wonderful.
I've been watching 1 for All since the first season, and Bardic Inspiration is my absolute favorite episode. So glad to see Elizabeth giggling along to such an epic comedic musical performance.
I LOVE that you play D&D. I didn't know, but you have more of my respect. As someone who has played for 40 years, it's always refreshing to find someone else who appreciates D&D.
I literally gasped out loud at work when I saw that you were reacting to this song. I couldn't open it fast enough! I love both your channel and Deerstalker Pictures, so the crossover made my day in a big way. I've probably watched Bardic Inspiration 50+ times and I was giggling in anticipation of seeing your reaction to the Vicious Mockery bit. It was everything I hoped for and I was grinning like an idiot at my desk the whole video. Thank you for all your hard work and wonderful reactions (and thanks to all the beautiful humans at Deerstalker Pictures!).
Huge thanks! With you I'm revisiting the first impressions I got from this marvel! I often rewind the "Bardic inspiration" - both in original and translated and re-sounded - but seeing these pure emotions was priceless! Please accept my best wishes! PS perfect tiefling horns 😈
I'm so happy that you've reacted to this one. I've only recently gotten into D&D and have just arrived home from DMing my first ever session, so what a fantastic way to end the day. I've watched Bardic inspiration so many times now and love it so much. It never failes to “inspire”. Also it's great that you're into D&D too, so got all of the references. You sure are full of surprises. 😁
Wow. Well thought through production on every level, not only the great song, but also scene composition, background action, lighting, camera angles, ..., perfect timing. Very impressive!
I have been a D&D player since the 1970's. I usually run dwarven warriors but run many classes. I would love to see you role playing..a lucky group that has you Elizabeth!!
Super cool seeing 2 of my favorite channels who i thought would never interact with each other in a video. I’ve been going through a lot lately and D&D has been a big help at getting me through it all. Highly recommend all of Deerstalkers videos, 10/10 fireballs 😌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I would like to thank you for introducing me to this song. I have been lissening/singing this one for the last 3 weeks. Its impossible to get out of your mind.
I just discovered these guys today and love it! This song reminds me of Galavant! I wish there was more of that show but i think it was cancelled for good. Looks like i have a lot to catch up on 1 for all, though.
Now this was an unexpected surprise indeed, two of my favourite TH-cam channels crossing paths! I'm glad to see Deerstalker are getting attention, especially since they're from Sydney like me. I love how big some of your reactions were too, the joy on your face was unbelievable. It's exciting to hear that you might be in Australia soon, here's hoping we'll see you in the next season of 1 For All.
Oh this was phenomenal, so many fine details and touches that make it great. The Vicious Mockery was a brilliant shift that I didn’t see coming. Great song to capture the wonderful spirit of D&D, and thanks as Walsh Elizabeth for such generous and nerdy reaction/analysis. I love the horns!
Was always a proponent of the Hero System gaming myself. But, fists in the air for my D&D brothers and sisters, always. The sheer joy you expressed during this definitely brightened my day.
Love to see two of my favorite channels coming together. Liz as a muscial guest character in Season 4 of One for All... is it wrong that I want both of battle of the bards and a sweet duet...
I've been watching your channel for a long time (love your reactions, commentary, and enthusiasm!), but now that I know that you play D&D, too, I must subscribe. 😃 You're a Font of Inspiration! Or maybe I was just charmed.
I absolutely love watching you geek out over the song and all its elements from gaming, it acts as an amplifier. Because trust me, a lot of us are geeking out right along with you over this.
What I love are some details. At the end of the vicious mockery line the guard starts bleeding out of his eyes. Also the line "Anyone can be undone by any 1" indicating crit failures. So cleverly hidden and invisibly unless having subtitles.
Oh, that was such a delight! I haven't had such a good laugh for a while! Well done! I also had just as much fun watching your reactions. It was very "Gilbert & Sullivan"! I will definitely be seeking out more from Deerstalker.
Could we PLEASE get a follow up video of your reaction (in full Tiefling costume, naturally!) to Deerstalkers "Battle of the Bards" episode, would be epic to also see your response to that- pretty please?
This was so hilarious and great all at once 😂; great singing, acting and the lyrics are absolute perfect. The acting reminds me somehow of the sillyness in the Princess Bride. @Deerstalker Pictures: great job!!
Two of my favorite channels combined! And two of my favorite things by having such a wonderful song in a D&D setting! I absolutely loved this! The original video/song was incredible, I love their characters so much and this was so fitting and epic. And to have it covered by the Charismatic Voice! I found myself laughing at the same moments and equally giddy over the references. I play a bard and make music myself so I was just absolutely in love with this crossover of channels
Ok, that was amazing. As someone who hasn't played D&D in a while I still love the game and do occasionally watch the groups that make content with it. I will definitely check these guys out. Not only was the song funny and well written, the singing was actually good and the video was well produced. I'm kind of in love with the Tiefling pyromaniac.
I've only recently discovered 1 For All and I can't believe that I'd somehow missed this video. I would love to see you and Antrius have a scene together. It's always great to find a connection between things that you love. This Channel, Deerstalker, D&D. That ticks a lot of boxes.
Ok, this is absolutely fabulous! The lyricism is amazing, as are the bends of word and phrase. As someone who played AD&D - many moons ago - I caught most of the references. I've never played a Bard; I was, always, partial to Wild Mages (the unholy havoc I reeked with my Deck of Many Things was hilarious!) Thanks for this, Professor! Truly enjoyable! J
Love the way you will react to so many different genres and show music that is likely to be overlooked by people who are not necessarily into the gaming/fantasy worlds. It brings these to an audience who would otherwise never experience them and so much of what you do has introduced me to so many bands I had overlooked previously. The main one was Sabaton - saw you review them and was immediately hooked! Now don't go a day without listening to them and have tickets to see them in UK next year. Keep it up Elizabeth (and a Tommy Johansson reaction or two would be much appreciated - Alone, the Heart Cover, You Raise Me Up his one octave challenge or his duet with himself on Phantom of the Opera would be fantastic).
Absolutely love DSP, Nixie brings me nothing but joy. Super crushing on Evandra. Antrius is the perfect bard. And the fact that every NPC is played by the DM. So perfect.
1 for ALL!!!!!! Damn I love those guys! If you're into D&D, it's more than worth a look. And Elizabeth! Good grief, woman! Lovely, talented, and nerdy? I am married, and so are you! Stop trying to make me fall for you, it isn't going to work. I would love to see you on one of their vids!!! A duet with Antrius? Huh? Yeah? So glad you did this. Really wonderful!
Another form of Bardic Inspiration to check out. for almost 2 years, Jason Charles Miller (Lead singer of Godhead and solo Artist, Voice Actor, and D&D player) and Dylan Wilkes (of CNE games) would get together on Tuesdays and with Twitch chat, write a song in 2 hours (okay really 1.5 hours or less) about something to do with D&D. Most often it would be a character that a Live Player streamer created and that had been included in CNE's video game. Or it might be a lore character, or a monster, or a race, or a place. Vol 1 and 2 are out and in the game. Vol 3 releases Wednesday ingame (no word yet on other places to hear it) Here is a link to the Vol 2 listening party which includes the full studio versions of 8 of the songs (Vol 1 has 8 studio recordings as well, Plus some late added Twitch show theme songs) Full disclosure I am a member of the Bardic Inspiration community, and have lines I contributed to 2 songs on Vol 2, and 2 songs so far on Vol 3 (final track list not yet revealed). The Chat community did it for fun, challenge and bragging rights and that was it however. th-cam.com/video/iBT7zl2Zpf4/w-d-xo.html
If I'm having a bad day, I put this song on and it always makes me feel better. I would 10000% happily buy an album of Antrius and his friends singing.
Weird. Just found this song / 1 For All like a week ago, and now it's here! It's so good! Both the song, and the series. Had it on repeat constantly for the last many days.
I have never played D&D, but I was still highly entertained all the way through, and got some serious Disney vibes from this video. D&D disney should definitely become a reality ❤️
Very funny musical, great work. I also sing. I have seen a few of your videos and I enjoy your work very much, it has a very good vibe. Best wishes from Portugal !!
It's so much fun, that's my favourite short of the whole 1 for All series, and there's a lot of great bits they did. 'Screams can sound so much like applause!' is such a great follow up to the mention of her saying concerning things and often ending up burning things. Now I'm curious if you will maybe do one of Ginny Di's songs too, she has a great voice and some of her songs are about D&D too.
After all this time having been subscribed to your channel, I had no idea you were a fellow gamer and in Forgotten Realms no less!. Love your channel even more!
I follow a lot of your reactions because you break them down so well. But to find that you also play D&D and a Bard (well of course you do) is just awesome. I have been following "1 For all" for a bit now and this is my fav episode. I am so glad you covered it. If you watch the episode of the outtakes for this you see that the characters do all sing their own lines in the song. Plus I have a huge crush on Nixie/Alessia...... plus as you said @10:00 music is the key to get you through bad times. Thats why we have bagpipers to pipe us into battle. I love how @ 13:39 you lose your shit at the lines... they are gold arnt they?
You make a great Tiefling! We’ll be taking a long rest when this goes live but we look forward to watching this when we wake up! Hopefully our bard Antrius can survive your Cutting Words!
My Vicious Mockery might be in full effect! This was an absolute pleasure, thank you for recommending it so long ago!!! ❤
@@TheCharismaticVoice good thing Bards have proficiency in Charisma saves....
Aaah! when this came out I listened to it non-stop. Time to go listen again.
Goes alright.
@@Forgeling I mean, it was quite impressive and hilarious. I tip my hat to you!
Thank you so much for reviewing us!! Hopefully Vox can join the party sometime!
Thank you for the kind words about our song! So wonderful to see someone get all the musical inspirations and references 😍
Yes it was great that she got all our musical references as well as the D&D ones!
Never have I needed something so much and not realized until I received it. Opera singer, fantasy nerd, and D&D player. Subscribing to this channel was one of the best decisions I've made.
Yayyyyy!
And plays the Kalimba! 😁
Hear Hear
I really like the line "Anyone can be undone by any 1" implying Naturals 1s. Clever!
The vicious mockery part lives rent free in my head at all given times, and I absolutely love Nixie's voice during the end chorus.
such a brilliant line!
The fact that Elizabeth is a gamer makes me love her so much more.
When you point out that Antreus sings perfectly because he has high charisma but not the others, while it is true for Evandra the fighter, you can notice that at the end Nixie actually harmonizes skillfully with him because she's a Sorcerer, another high Charisma class :)
Evandra holds down the low-end harmony super well too! Fitting. :)
Nixie in the background at 16:50-17:00 (ish) is pretty great too. That just came out of nowhere and wow.
Alessia has an amazing voice. She needs more opportunities to show it. She does nail her comedic timing so fricking well so I understand why the writer/director focuses on that but wow - she has a great voice.

“Nixie says concerning things and usually ends up burning things”
Later
“Screams can sound so much like applause” 😂😂😂 perfect!
I've lost count how many times I've watched the original - so to find it here is pure joy - thank you all :)
I just started watching this show. I watched this video for the first time last week. These actors are all amazing.
Huge thanks! With you I'm revisiting the first impressions I got from this marvel! I often rewind the "Bardic inspiration" - both in original and translated and re-sounded - but seeing these pure emotions was priceless! Please accept my best wishes!

I've watched this a few times and always love the look of sheer joy on Elizabeth's face watching the song play out...
I love Deerstalker Pictures, and am an avid follower of your channel. Combining them both is pure joy.
FINALLY!! Best episode ever!
I would like to thank you for introducing me to this song. I have been lissening/singing this one for the last 3 weeks. Its impossible to get out of your mind.
You're so awesome lol. This song is great too, going to share this with my dnd group. Nerds unite!
I just discovered these guys today and love it! This song reminds me of Galavant! I wish there was more of that show but i think it was cancelled for good. Looks like i have a lot to catch up on 1 for all, though.
Being a classically trained Soprano. I love the bass/baritone voice. Antrius sounds so good in these productions.
It is so delightful seeing someone enjoy this video as much as I do

Every time I think I couldn't possibly enjoy watching your reactions, you exceed expectations and elevate the bar that much higher. 💜

Started playing D&D in 1980, oh my gosh, 42 years ago!!!!! This is greatly anticipated.
I started in '82, and now I do it online streaming and TH-cam! ❤
Somehow I had missed this Dearstalker episode. So much fun watching it for the first time with the Charismatic Voice.
I absolutely love watching you geek out over the song and all its elements from gaming, it acts as an amplifier. Because trust me, a lot of us are geeking out right along with you over this.
It was so fun watching this. I want friends like you guys to campaign with!

I love the spontanious nerdiness. xD

Love 1 For All so much, thank you for this reaction and analysis :D
My favorite moment from the 1mil party was when you were holding your child. You were truly GLOWING! It was incredible to see it.
Tea, party-onesies, magic Kate and now back again come the Horns! What a killer week you are gifting us.
Wait until Led Zeppelin this Friday. ;-)
Friday is Zepplinday? ❤ 👍 ❤
Not to mention the party this past Saturday
Thank you for reviewing this episode. Love your insight and how you delight in all types of music.
Oh my This is incredible, I'm experienced gamer/D&D too. Love that you play too.
This was so hilarious and great all at once 😂; great singing, acting and the lyrics are absolute perfect. The acting reminds me somehow of the sillyness in the Princess Bride. @Deerstalker Pictures: great job!!

The tiefling horns, the D&D bard talk ... wait is this why you called the channel Charismatic? 😍
20 CHA! ❤
Great stuff thanks for this. Love Deerstalkers
I love deerstalker productions, but getting to see your reactions to it made it even better! Hope they reach out to you.
This is amazing. Two of my favorite channels in one.

I'm living for this deep dive! Bards are my favorite class and I'll be finishing a campaign with my lore bard soon! I'll miss it so much!
Wonderful to see two of the brightest shining gems of TH-cam meet. Great music video, great reaction. Here's hoping for a collaboration =)
This was the mashup I needed this morning. Two fantastic channels. Hoping for that guess star appearance.
Didn't know you played D&D....makes you even more wonderful!
Love the way you will react to so many different genres and show music that is likely to be overlooked by people who are not necessarily into the gaming/fantasy worlds. Congratulations on the 1mil + subs Elizabeth! It's been too long a time coming. Such a great channel.
Absolutely love DSP, Nixie brings me nothing but joy. Super crushing on Evandra. Antrius is the perfect bard. And the fact that every NPC is played by the DM. So perfect.
So glad you had fun with this, I enjoyed watching you enjoy this!!!!
I'm so glad to see someone else enjoy this as much as I did.
Love it!
Somehow there needs to be a 'bard-off' with these guys and the quick witted Sam Regel that plays the bard Scanlan of Vox Machina :)
Just as long as Sam doesn't pull out his mustache ;)
You mean Burt Reynolds esquire?
This is hilarious!🤣🤣Some great vocals from the "bard "guy. Looking forward to the analysis.
Your reaction to the Vicious Mockery bit was delightful! Bards are awesome. :)
Really wonderful!
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooots of tons of love!!!! saw it by deerstalker and great that you do it here!!!!
Finally I was soooo hyped for this video!
You need a set of airpods for hornday. Hornday? Fun Video and thanks for letting us know about these guys I love them.
Hi Elizabeth, I loved this video, and I really do miss the adventures of Vox Myron, Un'nisa, Alfonso (RIP), and Kirk the Omniscient! 💙

Weird. Just found this song / 1 For All like a week ago, and now it's here!
It's so good! Both the song, and the series.

Hi Sara, I believe Elizabeth still has recorded videos of their D&D games from a year or two ago on twitch (thecharismaticvoice - Twitch).

Awesome! I love 1 For All!
Not a collab I was expecting but def one I needed to see! ❤
The village was on fire. The castle was on fire. The PRISON was on fire. Just as it should be after a proper Bardic Inspiration.
Nah...just an afternoon with Nixie. lol
After all this time having been subscribed to your channel, I had no idea you were a fellow gamer and in Forgotten Realms no
