I got one as well and I love the knife. I have some custom-made fixed knives and folders made by Uli Hennicke. But I like the Kizer T1 as well. The quality of the knife made by Kizer is very good and the design of the T1 is fantastic. The size of the Kizer T1 is perfect for EDC use (imho).

Andreas Baumgarten it is an awesome knife the only two things that would make kizer knives even better if they did so internal milling to lighten the knives up a little and if they either did some thin hollow grinds or if the thin out the edges a bit cause I love me some great slicers but as is it's still a great knife. Thanks for watching talk to you later.

I like the flat grind of the T1. It's fine for me for almost all tasks as an EDC. The weight is ok for me as well. There are two improvements I would like to see: Rounded edges of the clip. And an improvement of sharpness out of the box. My T1 wasn't dull like a spoon but "it could be way more sharp out of the box".

Andreas Baumgarten mine came the same way that's why it will probably get a proper edge very soon but it's sharp enough until then. Hope your having a great day talk to you later

I know I am late to the party. I just bought this knife and I love it. It is everything you say it is. I did a lot of research before buying this. This is a great knife. Thank you for the reviews. You do a good job.

Great looking knife. I do not like flippers..I have one ZT 0562 and never carried..
it's good to see another thumb stud Framelock. Nothing really interests me these days except maybe more BM 940s.. I've been meaning to get my first Kizer and this could be the one.. It's everything I look for in a knife..I like frame locks, S35VN, titanium, perfect size, blade shape.. I'll be ordering one..
    Good review as always..

Nice, I really liked the T1 when I handled it at the IWA and the Spidermonkey is one of my favourites as well as the Crossbones!
We have a very similar knife taste!

Brian Kerby no they are stainless

I'm not a metallurgist so perhaps someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that in most cases the screws on a titanium scaled knife would be stainless due to the risk of the screw becoming galled / friction welded to the substrate when two metals such as titanium are in contact with each other. This is also commonly found in other applications of titanium such as bicycles where fitments will commonly be made of another alloy. It can be minimized I believe by the use of copper grease.

pabsw you are correct this is the case majority of the time unless the titanium screws have been carborized basically hardening them but these are definitely Stainless you will see some companies using them like WE Knives uses Ti hardware on there titanium hardware and you definitely can run the risk of them stripping, gulling, and in some cases bonding themselves to the titanium if there over tightened I prefer hardened stainless hardware for those reasons
