I love the short clip similar to the one on the original. Great knife for the money and love the blacked out look.
Super smooth Kizer action as always and the perfect size too.
I might buy another just to have a back up in case they discontinue it.
By looking at design and weight relieving, I think they used steel on backspace for blance.

As long as you use it daily, the dark color should remain on micarta scales.

I picked up a Kizer October in Red Micarta and felt it was to lite in color , So I used the Racing red Rit dye , I simmered it for about 20 mins , man it came out a perfect Red and you can still see the texture & design 👍, I’m wondering if he could have dyed this a nice color or black and leave it in for less time to desired color

That is a beautiful knife . I just picked up a Pfp01X from petrified fish (the red one with a black blade) and he is just awsome .
For me this is perfect size. Kizer has really kicked up the vanguard line. Favorite so far is the lan. Have you tried it?

The detent on my copy was garbage, and Kizer’s customer service was nonexistent. This was my first experience with Kizer, and I’m left extremely frustrated and disappointed.
They definitely have great deals and exclusives but they have some of the WORST customer service I've experienced in a knife dealer. I've bought several knives from them and won't ever again, bought a denim Feist and it was lost and no refund or replacement and this is the second time this has happened with them. It's a shame because I love kizer but I'll just buy direct unfortunately
Wait, you've had two knives go missing from your mailbox and it's the manufacturer's fault?
