Hi Mig, first.... very nice video... nice quality.... good sound... and I think this video will help a lot of people to use the shader !!! It is a new product and I hope we can see a lot of videos how other painter use the Shader. I think..... it is perfect for armour weathering. With a little bit practice you can show very nice fading and shadows on tanks. It will be also interesting to see how it works with a brush. However.... nice video good job... !!!
Доброго дня!!! Отличное видео, спасибо! Очень интересная техника и как вариант замены некоторой химии для создания теней и состаривания. И как мне показалось можно использовать вместо фильтров. Хочется попробовать!
Very interesting product, could they be used like a type of wash to highlight say aircraft interiors where traditional 'enamel based' panel line washes are too strong?
Thanks a lot for the video! Questions: 1. What to use to clean airbrush after shaders? 2. When to use oil (oilbrushers) before or after shaders? Thanks
Would be nice if Mig could tell us what colours to use on top of other colours to make it match. I guess light green shader/filter over dark green cammo to make it lighter etc.
Hola, excelente video, como siempre, creo que te olvidaste de hablar de como hacer lo Shader con pinceles, se quieras es una sugerencia que dejo, muchas gracias, saludos.
Hi matey, try my second and third homes ...... Emodels and Model hobbies. Just down road from me, I'm lucky . Hope it helps mate. Oh, or scalemodelshop.. all I uk
Howdy Mig, Pretty darn spiffy stuff there mate... very cool stuff. I was curious as to what kit that is you used.. couple of my guys that I still work with from the WTU asked also
So, these are airbrush glazes? I don't understand what this product is. The commercial tells us how to use them, but there's nothing really about what they are.
I also thought they were inks, they aren't exactly break the bank prices but I'll have to look at what quantities in other brands etc are for same or similar products. He did mention they sort of "glaze" on flat surfaces and need to be corrected with matt varnish.
Sorry I know zilch about art products, art inks in all these different colour available from a normal art store? Because of my poor knowledge I always thinks of inks as black, blue, indigo etc Also are inks super concentrated, water washable?
Good day. At the end of your video, you color the girl’s figure. This is my 3d model. Tell me, did you print it yourself or did you buy a finished figure somewhere? As proof, here is a link to the model: www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-models/miniatures/figurines/pretty-woman-part-3
Nice model! I have 3d Printed some of your models too that was available on Thingiverse, the Japanese schoolgirl is particularly exquisite! which software you use to sculpt the figures?
I've just purchased a box full I'm trying them out to practice with I'm getting alotnof spider webbing with them and just Beeding up and spraying like water over the part's the work OK on like 5psi and just a touch of the trigger, that can't be correct though! So going to have to play around with them alit today to see what's happening with them right now there usless to me but maybe find there's some issue with an airbrush or something yet but will update if find any issue's!
I'm not quite convinced if i really need this. We've got bunch of filters, and oils or other techniques to achive the same effect. Sorry to admit but this time its just another way to sell something. Not buying.
There is no specific needle size or psi you just have to experiment. They mentioned that the shaders are very thin which means that you probably won’t be able to use a 0,6 needle and spray with a super high PSI but that’s like basic knowledge.
So, its just paint? Looks gimmicky, like the oil brushers and AKs "magic" colored pencils. Its amazing how many people are sucked in by fancy packaging and short tutorial. I think I'll start pouring Elmars glue in fancy bottles, give it a cool name like "155mm bond", and sell it a shows.
Lets be honest here. 99% of MIG's ''products'' are rebranded art supplies readily available at any good art store for much better price. Some of them require a bit of preparation to be used, some are already set to go. For example those ''magic pencils''. Does anyone with half a brain think that MIG set up a colored pencil factory? Or any kind of production facility? Can anyone produce ''overnight'' what the top tier art supplies companies like Faber Castell, Caran D'ache, Derwent etc already produce for decades? Its like the fascination with the ''pigments'' offered in little pots for 4+ euros. I live in Greece and traditional orthodox iconography uses the method of egg tempera. Pigments or aghiography powders, as we call them, of earth tones are dirt cheap. A vase of raw umber or Burnt sienna is like 2 euros. www.plaisio.gr/zografiki-diy/zografiki/agiografia/sentioart-skoni-agiografias-sienna-psimeni_2577550
You started off with out that annoying music, oh great, then it appears again, we are not kids, AND don't need music with every thing .I just dead the sound in the end.
I purchased a bunch of these to try and guess what? It's acrylic paint. Yup just paint there's absolutely nothing different between these and regular acrylic paints. It doesn't even appear to be thinned down in any special way. My advice, buy something else.
What a GREAT time to be a modeler!!!!
Excellent video so happy you did it in English I usually watch your videos but do not understand I have to ask my fiance a lot she is in Peru
Thank you, you just brought me out of a 20+ years hiatus from building/painting model kits. Time to dust off my Aztek (hopefully it still works!)
I'm so excited to use these on some airplane models. Thanks for another great demonstration.
Great to see Miguel again! 😀
This presentation looks very convincing. I will have to give these shaders a try.

Everybody has used thinned paint since the days of shep paine suddenly now it's something new

Very interesting! Thank you Mig! Good luck from Russia
Wow more great mig products. I wish I could afford the whole mig range 😩
Yep, gonna have to add these to my shopping list. Very cool stuff, Mig!
Dammit! Now I'm buying shaders :-)
I hope I can do it as easily as you guys make it seem.
Love the effects these shaders provide!
just put water into airbrush it will give the same effect
Very good video showing the application of Shaders. Thanks!

Just use a regular airbrush cleaner. You use the oil brushes afterwards
Thank you so much. I want to try it
Даша привет! Чего Михель нового придумал? Расскажи в 2 х словах, а то я языками не владею
OK yeah, this is pretty cool!!! :-)
Looking forward to giving these a try!

What's the difference of shaders from filters exactly? Filters can also be used by airbrush. As do effects also.
Hello
Can 0.35 mm needles be used with shaders ?
What psi is used ?
What is the distance of the airbrush ?
Thanks a lot
Wow nice product! I am sure that I will use this soon! Great presentation.

Спасибо! Интересный продукт.
Can they be applied with a brush?
Basically its an airbrush way of filtering. Can't wait to get some!

Is it possible to use the shaders with a brush...like a wash?
Awesome Mig! These shaders seem So easy!
Hey Mig! Love those, ordered the whole color palette. How long after application are they washable??
Can these be brushed on or used as a wash?
Yes.
If you want to brush them, then you dont need them - use oils.
@@simoniron8416 your comment is absolutely the truth.
are they matt?
Appreciate the demo.

why must you varnish the model before applying these products?
so... it's a glaze?
Are these Shader will be available/do shipping to Malaysia?
could you tell me the product numbers of camouflage? Thanks
So, these are airbrush glazes? I don't understand what this product is. The commercial tells us how to use them, but there's nothing really about what they are.
well thats the point... most of the modelling products are rebranded fine arts supplies X10 the price. These look like watercolor inks to me.
I also thought they were inks, they aren't exactly break the bank prices but I'll have to look at what quantities in other brands etc are for same or similar products. He did mention they sort of "glaze" on flat surfaces and need to be corrected with matt varnish.

Great as usual
I miss some very important information: the size of the airbrush needle and the psis applied.
There is no specific needle size or psi you just have to experiment.

Strongly diluted paint did this for decades. Now we need new product? Right...
It’s for those who are lazy. It’s only a very weak paint mixture, hardly rocket science.
Go learn how to mix paint to get the colours you want folks …don’t be lazy and be spoon fed everything.
Great
The choice of music doesn’t go together with the content of this channel, imo. It is more suitable for vlog style of videos.
