When the pandemic first went down, it felt like the end of the world. This song just just captured the feeling that we'd get through it...One of my favorite Foals songs and an amazing album.
All of the trip, with none of the drugs! 🌌🎆🚀 I think this song is the best of the album, epic and powerful, and this video just makes it magic. This is where Yannis shines. Well done lads! 👏🏻
First time I've heard this one. One thing I absolutely love about Foals is how you can so clearly hear their influences in their songs yet they've reinvented them into their own unique sound. This song (Sunday) I can hear Moby, mixed in with some Ian Curtis (Joy Division) vocals and then in the middle fast section throw some Underworld into the mix! and it all works! Brilliantly! Absoutely love them and desparate to see them live! I love how they've put alot of the rave era into this album, mixed it with awesome bass and guitar and made it their own!
Yeah you are right, that is some humility from the band and also you do feel like every member in the band is important, and they are, but not every band gives that, almost none
Saw Foals with first album as a foreband of Bloc Party in Mannheim (Germany), talked with Yannis in the smoking section after outperforming them by far ;) and was a fan even before the talk. Saw you few days ago in Luxembourg at Den Atelier and I will hang on to you, it is worth it and I like the energy you're still putin' in it. I also vote for another Ioannis at the european elections but to no avail, a shame. Keep on. Like the video.
