We're pleased to announce that Wildlife SOS Online has returned! Series two follows some of some of our more recent work at the centre with a new episode coming out approximately once a month.
In this episode we get a special visit from Richard Symonds, a wildlife artist and long-term friend of the charity. In just one day, Richard gets to experience life behind the doors of Wildlife Aid, helping out on a dangerous treetop rescue to reunite a lost baby owl with its family. It doesn't stop there though, as there is lot more in store during a day with WAF!

That owl parent must be really confused. Some people storm her nest she must be like "Oh no they're gonna take my only baby". But when she comes back there are 2 now she must be like "wtf".

I love how calm the swan became after coming to the center, as if it knew they were helping it.

Maybe it surrendered to the experience once the capture was a fact, and thought: 'well, far out, this is weird but kind of interesting.' Who knows what birds think! Dunno with swans but there are birds that are really clever (crows, famously); if nothing else, in all of Simon's swan rescues the swans are really calm once he gets them in the (epic) swan bags-maybe it's on account of them being swaddled? You learn so much watching these videos!

When you're in the situation, knowing there is really only one thing you can do to end the suffering of a creature, it will surprise you what you can do...as much as it hurts and breaks your heart to do it.
I've had to do it, and Ktana Lynn is right. It's horrible, but there is a sort of peace knowing you're stopping the suffering of another creature.
Wouldn’t be great when animals won’t be injured anymore?

despite the tragic stories, this is so exciting, to have your full length episodes coming back here on youtube! I am really looking forward to this, as I live abroad and can't otherwise tune into your shows. Thanks so much Wildlife Aid for keeping up the great work. I love that there is more of these than the ones on Netflix. I love animals and seeing them being conserved and being assisted is amazing. I try to do so when one needs help but it's best when an animal doesn't need assistance.

If people drove a little more carefully and kept their dogs on leads this kind of job would be a whole lot easier.

By the way, there are things called deer whistles that alert deer early of incoming cars while driving. I highly suggest buying one to protect both you, your car, and deers.

Wildlife Aid 2 more might be the limit for me. But those 2 extra won t matter to me. I ll then keep watching and tell others to come and watch. if it s more then 2 extra ads I ll have to stop watching as I het irritated to have to get back in to the episode again. As I ve got adhd my head in evening is to tired to copy with to much ads.
Since the ads raise funds for helping wildlife, I don't think we'll get annoyed by a few more. : )

Great job with all the animal rescues. It was sad what had to happen to the deer but you did the right thing to end its suffering since it wouldn't be able to survive in the wild.
So happy to see this back! Used to watch this as a child on TV over a decade ago and it's amazing to see the love and rescue of animals continue! Love everything you do for these wonderful animals xx

These animals are just so lucky to have these dedicated people rescuing them. So lucky. Such beautiful stories.
The very first video I saw of Simon on a rescue was Sep 15, 2014 where he released a cygnet whilst trying to keep the cob away. He said to the male swan, don't be silly. From that moment I was hooked. Ty Simon and all the team.

It is so ironic that a man gives all his time to save wild animals and then on the other side there is this hunter who guns down animals for trophies and takes photos to post on social media with a huge self serving smile. These rescue missions are so heart warming and emotional.

The swan cracked me up. A 'wild animal' being manhandled while not caring in the least as he devours his supper. I guess he was hungry.

I love animals so much
I love how the swan inspected the bowl of goodies before eagerly diving in to eat. It warms my heart while watching all of your videos because wild animals deserve as much help as our beloved pets get. Our pets stay relatively safe with us, but their wildlife counterparts have to contend with the dangers of man-made contraptions. While it saddens me that it is necessary in the first place, the least we can do for wild animals is help them when they get the sort end of the stick in dealing with humans and our ever-growing populace.

My family had a baby Eastern Screech owl in North Texas in the 60's. He fell out of the hollow tree, and mom never came back. He lived about 4 years.
