I love how stereotypical dogs they are, such funny and lovable goofballs. My GF's 4 year old golden will sleep through thunder and fireworks, but he''s scared of small remote controlled toys. XD

Sterling is extremely caring and loving. Mature, has lots of patience and understanding. Also is having an inherent sacrificing attitude. Observing both Sterling and Colling for a long time. He loves his family way too much

Cherish this guy I know you will I took a quick break from work yesterday to come home let my dog Gus out to use the bathroom and found that he passed on he looked like he was sleeping he was on the couch with his pillows RIP Gus it was a great and fantastic 11yrs I'll always love you
I lost my golden the exact same away, so I am so sorry for your loss--my female golden was about 10, and my last vision of her was with a big smile on her face standing there looking at me in the family room. I left to go to a short meeting and returned 2 hours later, and she looked like she was asleep on her mat but she had passed. Totally heart wrenching as I had no clue anything was wrong (I grieved for weeks), but if she had to go, at least it was fast, she was at home and it honestly looked like she passed in her sleep. You never get over the loss of a beloved dog, but you go on and eventually open your heart to another, and a new chapter begins.
