Retyping this for people who don't understand what had happened: It's a combination of Exchange of the Spirit (Using Junk Collector to use its effect) and Punishment Dragon for the end part.
Exchange of the Spirit: If both players have 15 or more cards in their Graveyards: Pay 1000 LP; each player swaps the cards in their Graveyard with the cards in their Deck, then shuffles their Deck. You can only activate 1 "Exchange of the Spirit" per Duel.
Junk Collector: (Quick Effect): You can banish this card on the field and 1 Normal Trap in your GY; apply that banished Trap's effect. (The Trap's activation requirements must still be correct, but costs are not paid.)
Punishment Dragon's relevant effect: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP; shuffle into the Decks, all cards in the GYs and all face-up banished cards, except "Lightsworn" monsters.
So he met the requirement of Exchange of the Spirit by sending the opponent's hand and Extra Deck to the GY with the last effect of World Legacy Scars first. Then used Junk Collector's effect to copy the effect of Exchange of the Spirit (swap deck and GY for both players, condition for Exchange is met at this time) and chained Punishment Dragon to it in response to the activation to shuffle all cards in the GY and banished for both players back into the decks. So the cards get shuffled back (empty GY and full deck) then Exchange swaps them so you have no deck. Quite a nasty piece of work, no?
The only part that still confuses me is that the opponent ALSO has no graveyard.
@@steeledminer616 My guess is just a graphical glitch or programming oversight. Since Exchange doesn't use the normal animations of sending cards to the GY, it just "swaps" them. If the GY only lights up at the end of one of those animations (and wouldn't need to light up/go dim if Exchange resolved normally since there'd be cards in the GY before and after) they just didn't think of having the GY icon change for it resolving at all.

@@Lawler50431 Ahh, I was thinking there was some other effect in play that for some reason prevented cards from landing in the graveyard or such, but that makes sense since in theory the existence of cards in the GY wouldn't change at all.
@@winter9348 Exchange was seen at 1:10 (drawn by Saryuja Skull Dred's effect and returned to deck) and 1:40 (milled by Curious the Lightsworn Dominion's effect in preparation for the final move). It was quick though. 😀
All in all, *he/she use "junk collector"s effect* (banish itself & "Exchange of the Spirit" in GY , apply the traps effect).
AND *chain2 "Punishment Dragon"s effect* (shuffle all cards in GYs & face-up banish cards , expect Lightsworn monsters , back into deck).
so *the opponents deck changes into his/her GY , which has 0 in it before the exchange.*
Me: "I completely understand what happened!"
My brain: "Walk away slowly so no one knows you have no idea what happened..."
The fact there's no animation of the deck and graveyard switching. There's no indication that anything happened, just one moment the deck is there, completely full of cards, and then gone the next frame like it was edited out of existence.

How long did it take this person to create these complicated combos, and how much longer to get the cards needed for what he wanted?
I don't know if the guy is sick or a genius, but that was bizarre.
Usually if your opponent is playing every and anything and you see it summoning the Noble Knight link during his weird combo and you have no hand trap, you can surrender, one way or another you will lose (the duel and your time)
If you ever see Isolde and you got no handtraps, just surrender...

1 women can bring you a victory or ruins in every story in medieval era, and that card has two woman. thats it. And also woman is somewhat a embodiment of unexpected things they can bring tbh. Because shes easily accessible. Plus she works with one of the most common and supported monster types. She'd be banned if she was actually able to lend this sort of degeneracy to legitimate decks😂...then again Halq is still around.
Pendulums, you shouldn't be able to set a pendulum monster if you got it from isolde.

It's the combination of Exchange of the Spirit (activated through Junk Collector) and Punishment Dragon.
EotS swaps both players deck with their graveyards and PD shuffles all cards that are banished or in the graveyard back into the deck. So if you activate those two in chain PD will empty the graveyard and afterwards EotS will swap both players empty graveyard with their full deck, resulting in an empty deck.

@@Aidi25 Not necessarily. Yes, the snap took out half of all life but that doesn't mean one entire town didn't get snapped out of existence leaving not a soul left. There is easily millions of Yu-Gi-Oh cards in the world. Thanks snap will take out entire decks from time to time.
Ok so, I was concerned about the consistency and...
Starters :
- 3x Mezuki, 3x Samurai Skull, 1x Armaggedon Knight, 1x Uni-Zombie : dump Epidemic to gy, revive itself, Halq
- 3x Epidemic : norm into Almiraj, revive itself, Halq
- 3x Shiranui Solitaire : SS Epidemic from the deck, Halq
- 3x Deep Sea Diva : SS another DSD from the deck, Halq
- 3x Scrap Raptor : norm & destroy + search Chimera, norm Chimera to revive Scrap, Halq
That's 20 possible starters here.
Now for the garnets (potential or absolute bricks) :
- Crusadia Arboria (ok if in hand)
- Broken Bamboo Sword (ok if in hand)
- Yoko-Zuna Sumo Spirit (ok in hand)
- Box of Friends (ok in hand) and its two normal monsters (pure garnets)
- Dark Doriado (pure garnet)
- Infernoble Knight - Renaud (ok in hand)
- Exchange of the Spirit (pure garnet but ok because of Skull Dread)
- A/D Changer (same)
- Magical Merchant (same)
- Any of the equip spells (kinda dead but hey discard fodder is needed so...)
- World Legacy Scars (ok in hand)
So about 15 garnets here, but only three can definitely ruin the combo I think. Although you pretty much want every single of these cards in the deck, one or two of them can maybe be usable, either because you can SS/activate them from the hand, or because you need discard fodder, or because you have Skull Dread to send them back to the deck.
Not sure if this is consistent - not even talking about the possibility of getting handtrapped. What are your opinion, folks ?

The trap card that activates if both player's gy have 15 or more cards. Swap all cards between deck and combined banished cards and in gys.
And that freaking Junk monster ignores the trap card condition.

I don't want to imagine how would feel to play this deck with real cards. I mean, you'll be dueling for 50 years due to the amount of draw, discards and card resolving effects performed.
yes that's exactly why this kind of thing is only in MD and the TCG is so very different, real players would just scoop and not waste their time.
