When follow the tour normally they will take you to those tourist shop, let u see things, taste Thier products & later encourage u to buy. Naturally the prices is higher compared with outside . Travel from place to place, take the luggages, stay from hotel to hotel is like * refuge*, tiring, but it could be fun too. Taiwan lifestyle is more on quieter side, unless in Taipei, more populated & noisy. Overall Taiwan is rather beautiful country.
It’s not encourage to buy.. it’s more like aggressively asked to buy 😂😂😂 but for people with the right mind will know prices will be greatly inflated and quality compromised. Experienced even worse in Beijing traditional medicine shops when I signed up local tours in China 🤣🤣🤣 .. but they still didn’t managed to get my money 😂💪 and the salesman (or doubled up as doctor) gave up after trying to persuade me for more than 30 minutes 🤣
Should have signed up Taiwan tours by local tour companies. Malaysian tour companies organised too many shopping places that sell things at exorbitant prices.
