Hello, I am a detransitioner (ftm). Just posting this to remind people it’s OKAY if this doesn’t feel right for you anymore at any time in your transition. I had gender dysphoria all throughout middle/high school and juggling with hyperfeminine, androgynous, tomboy, and wanting to pass as male like going through the seasons in a year. Eventually I just wanted to be a guy and couldn’t take it anymore. After gender therapy i got a script for hormones at 17, passed as male at 3 months in. I did that for a year. I realized this didn’t feel like it was for me, couldn’t explain why I just knew. Didn’t solve any of my dysphoria or help with much. I detransitioned and with time accepted myself and was so glad I didn’t take it further towards irreversible damage. My voice is fairly normal, but I do get extra hair that won’t go away. Don’t feel embarrassed to reach out or detransition. ❤ thank you and wish you luck on all your journey in life

i was happy to see this video pop up on my youtube, as a trans dude most of the time i keep my past and alot of my identity secret because way too much of the time when people do find out i’m trans, they’ll straight up stop treating me like a human being and will start ridiculous political debates and argue with me about their ideologies/my identity, when all i’m trying to do is just exist. it’s awful and the worst part is that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to transphobia- im lucky i pass and don’t run the risk of being a target of harassment or violence because of the way i look. it’s nice to see people outside of the community supporting us and trying to spread more acceptance, thank you:)

"I can be a woman because it doesn't matter if I can't get pregnant because some women can't." Even though that actually means nothing. When a woman can't become pregnant, it is because of a health issue. Men can't be pregnant because they don't have the biological body parts for that. They use that as an excuse to affirm their brainwashed belief. Instead of taking into account that your chromosomes and the body parts that you are born with determine your gender. So yes, it does have something to do with the conversation.
I always knew I was different and never felt like a girl as a kid. I want to say as a trans person now. We are not targetting kids. We are saying that if they end up be part of the community, we will accept them with open arms. If not? Same them. We will still care about children and their identities are valid. When i came to school for the last time, to get some papers, after a few months of not coming my favorite teacher (pretty old guy) and he asked why im leaving. I explained and he was absolutly shocked. It was earlier this year. I heard he yelled at my class for treating me so bad to the point that after two years i had to leave. Honestly, as someone who identifies as trans now that I'm 19 years old (and I have been identifying as trans for now about five or more years, Have identified as generally queer for over a decade now) I was a transphobic kid and it was honestly the worst time in my life so far. I hated myself and I knew deep down I was performing as cis as to not "confuse" or disappoint anyone I knew, especially my parents and family. Around 2018/2019 I came out as genderfluid because Id always known something felt different and I was tired of creating a hateful festering environment around myself that only further beat down who I actually was. So I came out, started with "Ha ha any pronouns are fine" and now I'm at "He/him/They/them" and the only people who don't respect those pronouns are people I've either cut off or my parents who I limit contact with despite still living with them at home. I don't let people who are so clearly miserable dictate how happy I am and the joy I live to feel after hating myself for so long. I fought to be who I am. I didn't all of a sudden choose to be a man or even a woman. I simply exist and it's sad others cant simply exist in their own way without trying to hurt others.

When he said "you are who you are, and you deserve to be loved" and at the beginning he said they were born that way, i almost broke down. I'm not transgender, but I am pansexual, i am also genderfluid, but I do mostly go by they/them and sometimes he/him, around my family, she/her. Because they don't really accept my pronouns, but I thank johnnie so so much for undwrstanding, it's always a battle in people like me minds. Hello, I am a detransitioner (ftm). Just posting this to remind people it’s OKAY if this doesn’t feel right for you anymore at any time in your transition. I had gender dysphoria all throughout middle/high school and juggling with hyperfeminine, androgynous, tomboy, and wanting to pass as male like going through the seasons in a year. Eventually I just wanted to be a guy and couldn’t take it anymore. After gender therapy i got a script for hormones at 17, passed as male at 3 months in. I did that for a year. I realized this didn’t feel like it was for me, couldn’t explain why I just knew. Didn’t solve any of my dysphoria or help with much. I detransitioned and with time accepted myself and was so glad I didn’t take it further towards irreversible damage. My voice is fairly normal, but I do get extra hair that won’t go away. Don’t feel embarrassed to reach out or detransition. ❤ thank you and wish you luck on all your journey in life

i was happy to see this video pop up on my youtube, as a trans dude most of the time i keep my past and alot of my identity secret because way too much of the time when people do find out i’m trans, they’ll straight up stop treating me like a human being and will start ridiculous political debates and argue with me about their ideologies/my identity, when all i’m trying to do is just exist. it’s awful and the worst part is that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to transphobia- im lucky i pass and don’t run the risk of being a target of harassment or violence because of the way i look. it’s nice to see people outside of the community supporting us and trying to spread more acceptance, thank you:)

I always knew I was different and never felt like a girl as a kid. I want to say as a trans person now. We are not targetting kids. We are saying that if they end up be part of the community, we will accept them with open arms. If not? Same them. We will still care about children and their identities are valid. It is so important to make them feel validated, especially if they live in a transphobic household or are closeted.

Im a trans boy and i came out over 3 years ago at 11 years old. It sucks so much that i have to be homeschooled because of it. When i came to school for the last time, to get some papers, after a few months of not coming my favorite teacher (pretty old guy) and he asked why im leaving. I explained and he was absolutly shocked. It was earlier this year. I heard he yelled at my class for treating me so bad to the point that after two years i had to leave. I love that guy sm (Unfortunetly not all of my teachers were like this. The vice principle straight up laughed at me)

it’s great that kids and teens now have more representation and education regarding LGBT topics. i’m 22 so even when i was in high school there still wasn’t a ton of representation in the media compared to now. it makes people like us aware that we aren’t just crazy outcasts and that LGBT is a thing with a name and that a lot of people relate to us

Honestly, as someone who identifies as trans now that I'm 19 years old (and I have been identifying as trans for now about five or more years, Have identified as generally queer for over a decade now) I was a transphobic kid and it was honestly the worst time in my life so far. I hated myself and I knew deep down I was performing as cis as to not "confuse" or disappoint anyone I knew, especially my parents and family. Around 2018/2019 I came out as genderfluid because Id always known something felt different and I was tired of creating a hateful festering environment around myself that only further beat down who I actually was. So I came out, started with "Ha ha any pronouns are fine" and now I'm at "He/him/They/them" and the only people who don't respect those pronouns are people I've either cut off or my parents who I limit contact with despite still living with them at home. I don't let people who are so clearly miserable dictate how happy I am and the joy I live to feel after hating myself for so long. I fought to be who I am. I didn't all of a sudden choose to be a man or even a woman. I simply exist and it's sad others cant simply exist in their own way without trying to hurt others.

I'm not transgender, but I am pansexual, i am also genderfluid, but I do mostly go by they/them and sometimes he/him, around my family, she/her. Because they don't really accept my pronouns, but I thank johnnie so so much for undwrstanding, it's always a battle in people like me minds. It's always a fight with yourself, sometimes not, but it is very hard to be comfortable in my own skin when people like Roman are acting like we're disghusting, grooming human beings, key word was HUMAN BEINGS. @@drbubonic4942 This will affect cisgender people more since hormones can be out of order for some minors, so there are going to be more likely cisgender children affected from not being able to take hormones to regulate them if and when these draconian laws get created.

Being trans in the world right now is really scary for me and the rest of the community. Not knowing if I'll ever be able to access the healthcare and support I need, while also having to hear people like this spout their bs is genuinely awful. I wonder if these people ever think about mental health development being rooted in a lot of bigotry, mis assumptions and sexism that trans individuals have had to deal with their whole lives. Sure if they're struggling with mental illness, ask yourself why that came to be.
