🎉 greetings from coastal Mississippi. Watched AMC 1984- series end. All my Children January 5,1970. September 23,2011. Pine Valley Pennsylvania, Lancaster county.❤
I watched the show from 72 until ABC lost their stupid minds & cancelled it. Reruns on YT are great to relive all those decades. Such great actors. AMC had the best looking men of all soaps. Michael Knight was always FANTASTIC.
I met Susan in NYC in '88 when I was a teenager. I was there on a class trip and just happened to run into her in the street coming out of a restaurant. She took a picture with me. She was very gracious and incredibly sweet. Also thought she was drop dead gorgeous. I will never forget her skin and hair, and that amazing smile !!
@@kjnodwell She has the most beautiful smile! That’s so awesome that you got to meet her. I would love to meet her one day. I’ve heard a lot of people say she’s even more beautiful in person. Not quite sure how that’s possible. And she seems like such a genuine, sweet, down-to-earth person.
@@johnnyballenatl Well it was kind of missnig several stars including Susan Lucci and kind of got very racey. It really was focussed on the young and it was missing too many key characters.
I've seen a lot of the cast in person because since I live in MD and it's filmed in NY it easy for them to come down and do a public apprenace in one day.
It's kind of refreshing for an actor to finally admit to sometimes getting "aroused" during love scenes. Whenever they are asked that question all of them say things like "the lighting, the cameras, the stage crew etc prevent them from ever being able to become aroused. And I know that cant always be true. Of course, I do believe when they are under the sheets they have items preventing their genitals from touching which is understandable. And for the married actors its best to deny it.
Michael Nader got to work with the two biggest divas on tv -Joan Collins and Susan Lucci - yes there was Angela Channing, Abby Fairgate, Paige from Knots Landing, Sue Ellen and Pam Ewing from Dallas, Morgan Fairchild's character from Flamingo road? but these two were the icons and he becamea super couple with both. I wish he had discussed the truth in working with Susan versus Joan. That would be interesting.
I'd forgotten that Erica was after Phillip Brent when AMC began in 1970. Tara played by so many replacements was always a character whom I thought should have been "sent to Europe "as so often they did with so many other characters. She could have sent a postcard now and then....but that should have been all as far as her character should have gone....never to show up in Pine Valley again. I have often found that Julia Barr is much more reserved when they did cast interviews. This time is probably the most animated I have ever seen her. Nothing good or bad about that statement. It was just how her personality was in real life. I always felt David Canary became more good looking as he aged in real life. For me, it is the same with Ruth Warrick. Seeing her in her early years, she was attractive certainly, but as she aged she also became more regal and unforgettable. Great group here. :)
No I started watching AMC as a kid at my Grandmas. We would all have a tray set up with dinner on it & watch AMC while eating. Then AFTER they took AMC off the air it was on HULU for awhile because I watched it up to the very last episode. One question they never answered was Dr. David Hayward was saving all these people bringing them back to life again like Zach, Stewart, etc. but there was one more person who they never revealed. I recall somebody on the show asking him who was that last person he was trying to bring back/save and he replied you wouldn't believe it if I told you. All these years now and talk shows and they still don't bring that subject up. I want to know who that last person was?

I watched AMC for about 26 years. When the girl asked about David doing both parts, he never said. They call them by their character names because that's what they know them from the most. Michael knight later on divorced his wife. You can go to emmytvlegonds.org and see a really good interview of David. I met a bunch of the cast in person. I live in MD near DC and it was so easy for the cast to come to the Washington DC area. I even met Susan once and she was just like Erica. I met Michael once with the girl who played Hillary. He seemed nice but also a bit conceded. When the lady asked the men about doing sexy love seens, I use get turned on when I watch them and couldn't wait to turn on my boyfriend even though it was a few hours before I'd see him. I herd the actor that played Jeremy fell in love with Susan but I don't know how much. My old boyfriend would watch it because I did. he use to call it All My Kids or all my Kiddies.
Susan Lucci is the furthest from her character. She is more on the shy side, very humble, genuine and kind. Not at all like Erica. They look and dress similar.
Her "humble"ness comes off as fake. I'd believe it if she didn't dominate all the airtime on reunions. Even in this one she's talking about her stupid sinus infection when Phil was talking to Michael Knight. Rude and obnoxious.
Nothing against amc,but I think the young and the restless was consistently the top rated with viewers, it had more consistency than any other soap in general.
RIP MR Michael Nader.
And now Phil Donahue.
I worked on the show for 4 and a half years, and I have fond memories of working with Susan, David and many others
ouuu plz share

I miss AMC. Not the last few years before cancellation but back in the day it was great.

Such great actors. AMC had the best looking men of all soaps.
Michael Knight was always FANTASTIC.
Remember michael chitwood? He retired from the Alambama state police in 1993
Me too, 39 years from nine!
So nice to see the interactions between cast & fans.
All My Children was on fire during this period
My favorite.
Yeah, definitely one of the best eras of AMC. Most of my favorite characters were all here
Agreed
Absolutely.
David Canary... RIP
RIP Michael Nadar. 🙏
The best all time daytime soap in tv history.
Yea it was.
Susan Lucci is such a class act. I love the compliment she gave to Julia Barr.

@@kjnodwell Yea I met her at a jewerly store in Bethesda, MD when she did a public appearance.
I miss Donahue and his intelligent, thoughtful take on the world.
Thank you for posting this! I remember watching it the first time around when it aired in 1993. It's great to see it again!
I love all my children...I used to record it on my dvr and watch it when I get off from work. please bring it back...
yea me too, 26 years.
Well, All My Children did come back on Hulu in 2011 or so, but it just wasn't the same.
@@johnnyballenatl Well it was kind of missnig several stars including Susan Lucci and kind of got very racey. It really was focussed on the young and it was missing too many key characters.
they had dvr in 1992?
Nami sah He probably meant *VCR*

I watched from the beginning. Love AMC the very best soap ever. OLTL is the very next. Love all the cast.
I watched it 26 years.
Very Great Actors and Actress I love watching All my Children and One Life To live
Would love to see more interviews of Michael, he's a riot!
The good old days of soaps and talk shows
Pretty hard not to let all of this attention go to your head. Julia is so sweet.
Bring back Amc!
Teresa Blake “GLORIA” in the clip with Adam/Stuart - was amazing - I can’t believe another soap never snatched her up!
walt willey facial expression at michael nader's comment about getting a "woody" is priceless! CTFU!
Dallas Girl What was even funnier was Susan’s reaction 😂
SUSAN LUCCI HASNT CHANGED AT ALL. N SHE ALWAYS HAS A SMILE ON HER FACE. SHES SO GRACEFUL. LONG LIVE SUSAN LUCCI! LA LUCCI. LOVE HER.
She’s the best!!!! Love, love, love her!!!
Susan is so cute and Walt is funny

most of them were porn stars to begin with.
SUSAN LUCCI IS SO SWEET 2 HER FANS. N SO GIVING. WOW!
Love her!
The "I get a woody" comment never fails to crack me up. I still can't believe he said that.
Did you see the look on Susan’s face? 🤣
It was so funny!!!! Honestly those scenes with Erica were too real...
I know! Walt trying to be all diplomatic and michael has no filter 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
18.5 years after this segment aired all my children ended.

YAY! Finally the full show! Thanks for the post!
Do you have both of the Erica/Dimitri weddings?

David still didn't say how he plays Adam and Stuart at the same time. Michael and his wife did get divorced.

Cool video
I watched the first episode of AMC until the last episode on Hulu with Jackson walking out on her.
You watched the original AMC on Hulu?

Lucci in Orange? Who would have thought.
When attending an event & present in the audience with thespians as guests it's best to know their actual names.
And to actually ask them some questions and let them speak instead of endlessly rattling on like Donahue frequently did.
This audience is so nervous on the Donahue show they can't get anything right lol
13:11. 20:05
36:10 44:15 we'll be back in just a moment!!

Susan is a doll. I got to work in a scene with David doing a dual scene of Adam/Stuart, and man! He's a pro
Wow all these ppl are dead including Donahue. RIP everyone.
