Hi Katie Paul & Jasper , Zone caravans look the goods well built with of plenty of features, we tow with 200 series & we love it only thing need to watch the rear axle max load 1950 kg easy to exceed even with a gvm upgrade. The Weber Q I believe has an issue when plugged into the caravan bayonet fitting, apparently this doesn't comply with gas regulations as the Weber Q isn't fitted with a flame failure device, if the Weber is coupled to cylinder outside the van it is legal which makes little sense but regs are regs. Weber Q in 2023 will be fitted with the flame failure device I am lead to believe. I have a FFD fitted to our Weber because of possible insurance issues. Safe travels

Congratulations 🎉 you will love the off road capabilities. We went from a dual Ute to a V8 Landcruiser a huge difference in driving experience just feeling more planted on the road and there’s no effort in the car. Soo happy for you.

This is a desire of ours to travel, we will probably never see all the things you have seen cos we drive an accent and own a tent but you give us the inspiration to begin our journey and seeing all that Australia has to offer. Hi guys this has come up a few times in other posts, not this group I don't think. However it's illegal to use a bbq on the gas bayonet without a flame out unit. All BBQs have to have a gas arester fitted if run from the bayonet fittings on a van Just saying🙂 I just bought a new baby Q and then found out the new regulations. So now I will run the BBQ on a bottle until Weber get this sorted with the compliance.
Zone are awesome vans - a shame they did not have knowledgeable representation at Qld Van show on some days and relied of admin staff and CEO Now you better get cracking to fill that second bunk! As for the new 200 excellent choice but be aware that you will easily chew up your GVM especially with a few accessories and be surprised to see that a bull bar could immediately put your front axle weights over the max limits. We have learnt and currently right on GVM without any camping gear, food, water or tow ball weight..

Congratulations on the new van to be. Seriously jealous about the lithium and solar setup. Unfortunately with the new 200 series (it must be a 200 if it is the 4.5 V8) you will notice a sizeable difference in fuel consumption between the Cruiser and Hilux, but you have to feed the ponies as they say. I know, I have one and they like to drink when towing, but it is what it is !!! Love watching your adventures and it is especially great to see young Jasper grow and develop over the journey; he has turned into a special little man. Dave

Great video, the quality of your editing and videos is something to behold, it’s pretty much the kind of standard you would expect from a large media organisation, you guys do an amazing job 👍 Congratulations on the new van, I think it will add another dimension to your videos which will serve your channel very well, Zone is definitely on our list, for when the kids leave our existing van, but that’s a while off, as they are only 7 & 9! I’m looking forward to your reviews of the Zone products, I appreciate you are Zone ambassadors, so there would be an expectation you are heavily invested in the products, but it would also be great if despite this, you are able to remain objective, and video what you like, but also where there is room for improvement, which will maintain the value of your product reviews 👍Keep up the good work, we are also Gold Coast based, but more of the weekend warrior variety! Would be great to see some coastal trips between Sydney and SE Qld, none of the other similar channels seem to cover these destinations, they all focus on ‘bucket list’ destinations, which is great, but out of reach for many viewers, with work commitments etc. Keep up the good work 👍

Hi Paul, Katie and little Jasper. I must say I love your show. I am at the just retired end of my life journey and decided to upgrade my caravan or might I say splurge a little.. I have been following the zone story for quite some time. I decided the 21ft Zone Sojourn Pioneer or Summit in couples configuration was the one for me. My tow vehicle is an Iveco Daily crew cab 4x4 with up to 9000kg GCM and 5500kg Gvm all of the boxes tick except for the 3500kg braked towing limit My question to you is after configurating the Summit with similar accessories as you have chosen its weight with full water tanks but nothing else on board ended up around 3750kg and the Pioneer 3250kg. My question is how did you do it loaded and keep it under 3500kg. Cheers.
Did you upgrade to ATX suspension or add protection coating option? Any opinion about induction cook top only in the inside kitchen? Thanks for the advice in advance.
#ZN617 We have a Natures Head composting toilet and absolutely love the simplicity of use and waste management. We frequently wince when fellow caravan ears pass by on their way to the dump point. so useful for long excursions off grid.

Sorry for the delay on email reply… we’re a few hundred behind but getting there as quick as possible 😅 we did mention the new (2nd hand) vehicle that we’re getting in this episode - we haven’t taken ownership yet but hopefully in next week or so and will do a great episode on that also as we learn all of It’s amazingness!
No worries - the vehicle is a Landcruiser it’s been very well kitted out - I think we’ll collect in next week and review the actual model and it’s trimmings - a hell of a lot for me to learn - can’t wait 😅

I'm currently looking for a new caravan and was considering a Zone but I'm not sure about the composting toilet. I'm getting mixed messages cartridge vs compost. I would be very interested in receiving regular "toilet reports" 🚽🧻😄 on the composting toilet.
