Great review!! I love my Dual Blaze. I’ve had mine for a couple months now, and don’t miss the basket of my old one. Being blind, Alexa and app are so much easier than having to label buttons with braille dots. A hint for removing hot tray… silicone finger covers work great. 😊
Hello.I am a englishman ex gas engineer. I bought the dual blaze but whe pulling the draw to check progress it started flashing on off rapid on the control panel.was going to keep it for fairy lights at christmas haha.Anyway sent it back and bought the same model because i can bake two small loaves in it. You are the only one on u tube that measures the basket size with a tape to get a true W.L.D of it Trying to get the size of models is near impossible without purchase.5,6,7Ltrs means nothing without the true measurements. Good on you a loyal fan !!!!!
I really like seeing the family in the background, just living their lives 7:35. Really gives these videos that extra home feeling, like I am sitting across from her watching this live. My best memories growing up on a farm was sitting across from my Gma making huge meals for us all. I always appreciated the art and effort it took to make her unbelievable country meals ... sorry, think I digressed.
This is great. I was waiting for your review. I love Cosori and I recommend it all the time. I bought mine 2 years ago and I’m so glad I did. It took me till last month to convince my 84 year old father to get one. He kept saying, I’ll never use it it. Well, proved him wrong. He uses it all the time. He loves it. He made a pork chop and potatoes tonight for dinner. He called me up to rave about it. Keep up the good work.
Cathy, finally a real review of the Dual Blaze. Good job!!! I ordered one a few days ago and can't wait to receive it. When I heard about this new Air Fryer my first thoughts were "great, now I can get rid of this basket with all the slats" (my Cosori 5.8). Much to my surprise, several comments on your site (after the video) were "the basket was a game changer", meaning they wanted the basket, and therefore would not order the Dual Blaze. After reading all the info on the Dual Blaze, I did not get the impression the "Crisper Plate" was a replacement for the basket, but that it is an accessory to be used for extra crispness (and maybe to hold up certain foods that need to drop juices or fat through the plate). Because both sides of the food are being cooked at the same time, it seems that most foods could be cooked in the one basket without the "Crisper". Therefore another basket is not needed. I did not read any of this from Cosori, and agree than many more details are needed about the Dual Blaze, the Crisper, and the App. Looking forward to more of your videos using the Dual Blaze.
We love our new Dual Blaze. It is much faster and so much quieter than our old air fryer. One feature you should have mentioned was the interface to Alexa (or Google). We just tell Alexa to set air fryer to 380* for 10 minutes and it starts right up. We use that feature all the time.
Pro tip: The parchment paper air fryer liners have been an absolute game changer for me! It keeps all the mess on the paper and I only wash the the basket after cooking something super messy or after two or three uses. Makes a huge difference when not having to hand wash and finish by throwing the basket into the dishawashwer every night. Makes me want to use the air fryer more!
Came straight to your video(Fabulously Frugal) a week ago to get YOUR opinion on the new Casori air fryer! Now I have it and love it! Quicker, and quieter. I find the new basket a lot quicker and easier to clean than my other calorie air fryer. I find its also more solid because its one solid piece. Thank you for taking your time to make such informative videos for us!
I have had this air fryer on my wish list ever since it came out. I had a Gourmia one that was given to me and I loved it but wanted the no turn over feature of this Dual Blaze. Well it went on sale during the latest Amazon deal days and I snapped it up with a reduction of $60.00 off the regular price. I absolutely love it. The only con is that it is much noisier than my old one. Thanks for recommending Cosori to me!
The absolute best feature is not having to stop in the middle of the cooking. I did a 4 pound chicken. Everything is so easy to clean. Customer Service is the best. Did more for me than what I asked for!
I got this air fryer like a week ago as my first AF. So far, very happy with it except for the tray about what you mentioned in the video and a lack of presets. I wish it had more presets and food dehydration. I wasn't aware I could change the presets. Thanks for the info! I love that I don't need to toss the basket half way through with this AF! I also noticed that food gets cooked and cruchier on the top side thanks to the fan, so if I cook long enough, I still do toss the basket to make it more even.
Hi Lucy, thanks for sharing your experience. I didn't notice crunchier food on top vs bottom due to fan, but I can see why that could be. I'll pay attention to that moving forward. I never really use pre-sets, so that hasn't bothered me at all. Adjusting the common ones you use is awesome though!
Very cool! I recently purchased the same air fryer on Amazon and I'm waiting for it to be shipped. I'm a first time user of the air fryer and can't wait to receive it and try it out on some of my favorite foods. I loved your review which was very informative and made guest like myself feel like a family member. Your children were great giving their take in the review as well.
I HAD to get the Cosori, I can't even describe how much joy it brings to my cooking. I love to cook anyway and the Cosori just takes it over the top! I appreciate your channel more than you'll ever know. Thank you so much! 💓
I have this model. Returned the first one due to bad chemical smell and got a replacement from Amazon and really like it. Like it much better than basket model as this is easier to clean. I don’t use the insert.
Thanks a lot! I bought my old Cosori around 3 years ago and loooove it sooo much. Today I chose to treat myself & upgrade to this model! So excited! In my old one, I have had a home made thick alu foil pan in the bottom, I took a stove splashback from aliexpress and cut it into the right size and pressed it into the bottom and shaped it perfectly. Has washed it many times, easy to clean. I might do the same for this new one, still have more alu left… Can’t wait until it arrives in a few days… 👏👏👏🤗
Thanks for the review. I was hoping for a basket like the older versions of Cosori and a larger cooking basket. I get that the basket handle system was a huge nightmare for some when it broke on the older models but I think I will be passing on this air fryer until I see a larger basket. Great video!
Thanks for doing this video finally! I’ve been debating if I need to get it… and was waiting for your opinion as you are the queen of air fryers!!! You are the reason I got my Cosori 2 years ago! I have seen people put a bit of tinfoil over the finger holes to stop smaller food from falling down, or a small sling to help lift it out. I love the ability to reprogram the presets, didn’t know that was an option! I think I may have to gift myself one very soon…
You didn’t mention the fact that when you choose Broil only the top burner comes on. I find that function really handy for example making a sub sandwich opening it up and heating up the insides but not getting the bun too crispy.
@@empoweredcooks I love my 6.8, I love Cosori customer service, but I am disappointed that the instructions with it are the bare minimum. I had to figure out the Broil function on my own they don’t mention it anywhere. I love your videos BTW.
This is good to know. Many reviewers in Amazon complain about the grease falling at the bottom and burning, thus causing smoke. They mentioned they wish there’d be an option to switch the bottom Burner off. The company should give more detailed instructions so people would know the functions better to prevent accidents, otherwise they’ll start getting complaints through BBB. Reading your comment I might now consider buying this AF, knowing I can use Broil to prevent the bottom fluids from burning up. 🔥
@@griselc.7207 I think the reason it is smoking for people is I’ve seen people use too high of a temperature in general. I’ve never had a problem with things smoking in mine. I’ve cooked steaks, bacon, whole chickens, burgers to name a few greasy suspects. Never had a problem with smoking.
Remember me? I'm the one who had those weird problems last year with the first two. I still have the third Cospri, and I'm very happy I got it! Still using it almost exclusively too. I will see how your new one works for you, and if I ever need to replace mine, I may try this bigger one! Thanks for your videos!
Thank you for the review. I’ve been researching this air fryer. I bought the Gourmia at Costco, but had to take it back after the 4th time using it. The tray would not close on one side. So you had me when you said the tray closed easily. ☺️
Very interesting and informative as usual. That steak recipe looks delicious. My daughter finally opened the AF I got her a couple of years ago. Lol. I don't think she's as enamored with it as I hoped, but at least she's using it occasionally.
Bought the Dual Blaze and LOVE IT! One question. What do you use if you want a second layer? Is there a grill type rack that will fit in it so I could do two layers of food at one time?
I have seen accessory packs for air fryers on Amazon. I do not know how well they work, but you would have to be sure to know the inside measurements of your air fryer and the rack measurements to be sure the rack would work. To my mind, air fryers are designed for you to put single layers of food in them, but this does not mean that a rack would not work. Some of the air fryer accessory packs I have seen are expensive for what you are getting, though. I would not invest in them myself. Good luck.
I have two different air fryers but your promoting of the Corsair always interest me. Amazon Prime Day got me! I have the new duel blaze coming Tuesday and can’t wait to try it.. I’m a gadget person and all the recipes and Alexa and I are waiting. Love your channel, you and that your family brings it home. Thank you for all you do, I recommend you to all who are new to cooking, you make it easy and fun.
I just found your videos recently and settled on this model. I love it! Do you have a video that actually explains the difference in each button and what a difference on each kind of food.
I have the regular basket Cosori and I love it so much, I have considered buying another for multiple cooking. This one seems neat but just doesn't feel necessary.
I've been testing fun uses for the dual burner functionality. I'm liking it more and more! But I can understand sticking with what works and what you know.
Ordered the Dual Blaze today, getting it Tuesday; coming from powerxl vortex, which I was happy enough with, but for the life of me I can't get the tray cleaned of buildup or whatever residue, hoping this will be a lot easier to actually get clean, or as close to clean as possible.
My son has the dual blaze, and I prefer the 5.8 better. I don't mind flipping over the food using the shake feature, as I prefer to check the food anyway. It only takes a few seconds, and in the dual blaze a lot of people open it up during cooking anyway just to make sure. Great comparison video thank you for posting!
It’s a great option for people with disabilities like myself. I won’t have to get up and down so much to check on things. Mines on order now. So excited to be able to cook for myself! Thanks for sharing your views. Reviews and comments like this are what helped me choose the right product for me😊.
I just ordered this air fryer on june 3rd. Wife and i saw some bad reviews and started worrying about it lol thanks for the video now my wife and i feel more happy of receiving this product tomorrow 😊
Hi Ellen! Yes! I know you are a huge fan of the Dual Blaze! 😍 Thanks for the feedback on the recipes... that's one of the questions I get frequently too!
@@empoweredcooks You’ve no idea how much you’ve changed my life! I’ve recently had a very invasive 12 level spine fusion and my family and I have eaten better since air frying has made it easier for me to cook good meals! God bless!🤗💕❤️💗😍
I bought my Dual Blaze during Amazon Prime days. I previously had a Ninja (basket style) which I loved but was looking for a larger capacity AF. I love all of your videos and saw what a big fan you were of the Cosori brand so I bought the Dual Blaze. So far I love it, like my Ninja it’s super easy to clean, it’s very quiet and it cooks everything perfectly. My son has taken ownership of the Ninja and the Dual Blaze has quickly become my favorite appliance. Thanks for the awesome videos and recipes. You have the cutest family, I love watching their reactions to the different foods you prepare.
I love watching your videos . i did not know about this corsori dual blaze ! i just got a corsori last year. i looked on amazon and it really high in price. 179.00. going to have to try to save some money for it!
I just got mine today after long search n study about air fryer from different brand . As a pure beginner, may I ask, why didn’t you use the Steak function ? I’m still confused when I use steak, chicken etc function and use air fry function. Thank you so much for sharing 💕
Question...I've been seeing in the reviews the issue from having the bottom heating element causing smoke while items are cooking. The grease that drips below the drip try being so close apparently causes this. Was this your experience?
That bacon grease would be great in turnip, collard or mustard greens! I save and strain bacon grease and use it in fresh green beans and all sorts of veggies! I like this review, too. But the height is a problem for me. My cabinets are just 14 1/2 inches from my countertops.
Thanks so much for this video! I'm wondering if you can you fix the food-falling-in-crisper-holes problem with baking paper, or is it less advisable to use that since there is a burner beneath the basket in addition to the normal one on top? I just bought this Casori and it arrives in a couple of days. I'm watching your videos to get prepared so I can hit the ground running with my new/first air fryer!
I LOVE my Dual Blaze! It cooks everything so evenly! It makes amazing chicken wings, I cook almost everything in it. I’ve even gotten rave reviews for salmon and swordfish! I don’t remember the last time I’ve used my oven!
Good video... it was only abt a "review" of your new AF... To the point, and not a lot of mixed up content. Really love your recipes, when I can get to them quickly. You made me drool & now I want steak, and a Corsori AF! 😊
Just got this air fryer yesterday. Anxious to try it, but I do have a couple questions. 1. With the dual burners, do I need to adjust cooking times from what is on most recipes (like your cookbook)? 2. Can I use the parchment liners in it? I have the square ones with tabs, but no holes. Was concerned they may interfere with the effectiveness of the bottom burner.
Congrats! And answers to your Q's - no need to change the cook time (you just don't have to flip) and yes you can use those parchment liners with no issues!
Cathy, thank you for doing this review. I have had a Bella air fryer as my only air fryer for a few years now. I love my Bella, and it has done everything and more than I could have asked for. But as I said, it is a few years old. So after seeing your video on the Cosori Duel Blaze, I ordered it this past Monday. It arrived yesterday and my first test run with it was wings. Oh it is was so nice NOT to have to flip them half way. And I was able to do all the wings in two batches rather then the usual three. My Bella is just 1 quart less than this Cosori, but with the Cosori, I am not losing space around the basket. The wings turned out Fabulessly (play on your channel name lol). Another thing that was nice, is the Cosori is so much quieter than my Bella. The air fryer and my Insta Pot are my workhorses. Just thought I would share, thank you!
Will silicone pots and liners - pots work in a Cassori Dual Blaze? I heard they would melt. Also, my veggies come out burnt and my fries are always burnt in mine on the pre-set. Should I remove the crisper? Also, I will admit I’ve had a devil of the time choosing accessories for my 6.8 quart model. Any suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks!
Great video...I'm an original Cosorian from day one! Back in the day, I was all over their FB page with my culinary dishes in their Air Fryers. One question, do you need to Pre-heat the fryer before you put the food in??? I'm ready to take the plunge for this new Smart Air Fryer Blaze! Keep your videos coming.....very helpful! Thanks Ron Ludwin
But the lower element in other models is protected from grease and food splatters however with the new top heating element doesn't that mean that top heating element is opened to grease spatters?
You had me up until the app. I can set the temp and time but still have to walk over to hit the start button 🤔 maybe if they incorporated the start function into the app, I may consider it. It's not that much bigger than the other one. I'll stick with getting a second of the same. Thanks so much for the review Cathy! Awesome as always! 😄
@@empoweredcooks yeah that is a possibility but I might as well punch in the temp and time at the home base. I gotta go back there anyway to hit start 😁
You can also set it with Alexa, and you don’t have to touch it to start it. I use that function sometimes when I am in the kitchen, and I’m in the middle of something else. I like getting the notifications on my Fitbit from the air fryer as well.
I feel like the «noise» part is dumb to compare cuz even tho the dual blaze is quieter, the original is still way more quiet and nicer listening to rather than something like a steaking pan or other kitchen equipment. What im tryna say is that airfryers are awesome! Got my first one today :D
Ok, so I am relatively new to air fryers. A friend gave me a small ChefMan air fryer which I am happily experimenting with. My only real complaint so far is its small size ( I am semi -retired, like to cook and eat and nor afraid to learn something new.) For the same reason that I like a 7 qt crock pot, I am intrigued by this Dual Blaze's size. I like to cook for friends and/or I like lots of leftovers to freeze and eat later. My question is other than a little more to clean, a little more counter space needed, I assume this performs equally well if I am cooking for one or cooking for six? Correct? Thx
Hi Cathy!!! That really is a nice AF. If I had more room I would get another one but I just have too...many items. I like the no shake feature. When mine goes out I believe I will buy this brand for sure. Thanks for the nice review my sweet friend. Great video!!!...
Hi Diane! I totally understand having too many things. I cleaned out my pantry on Memorial Day and it is nice to have a little more order. Ha ha! I agree, it's a great upgrade for when you are ready!
Excellent review!! I've been experimenting with my Dual Blaze since January to find the right settings since most recipes are for the old model that doesn't cook as hot. Thank you for finally providing simple instructions for frozen fries. I was overcooking them longer at 400. Can you please provide similar instructions for cooking Stouffer's frozen entrees in the Dual Blaze? I've tried 350 (lowest setting) for 15 minutes with the slit film on top for Salisbury steak. The film blows partly off, but the entree is cooked. It just doesn't taste as good as using the regular oven at 350 for 35 minutes. Fancy recipes are nice, but good basic methods for everyday frozen foods are more practical for single households. Thanks!
I love watching your videos very informative! I have a Ninja Air Fryer Max XL my first one that I like it a lot. I'm ready to upgrade to a larger air fryer that's not round. You've sold me on this model with the dual burner and not having to shake or turn over foods. I really like that this one doesn't have a lot of buttons like the other Cosori models. Do you know if this model ever goes on sale?
The most important of all - Can you change the volume of the beeping with this version? I have a small Cosori at the moment and the beep is just way too loud. Would switch instantly if that was an option on this one.
Got bacon grease? Instant Pot refried beans using bacon grease in place of lard works well. Amazon sells strainers for collecting and storing the grease.
ok well thanks! im buying this now, lol. my other AF is dying making super loud noises and shakes. not a cosori but ... im gonna give this one a try. in europe but i reckon its about the same other than the voltage. Thanks for your review.
I got my Cosiri thanks to your reviews/recipes & I love it. I’m really interested in the new specs of this model but not having a basket is a deal breaker for me
I can understand that. I'm going to use it exclusively for a bit to decide if that is just something that I've gotten used to OR if it is really a necessity. I do love the basket feature as well.
@@empoweredcooks I am debating which one to get as well. And I am kind of waiting to see what your opinion on basket vs. no basket too after you've used it exclusively for awhile. Just can't decide which Cosori I want to go with.
No, this is not a model that was recalled. I bought this last year after watching your videos and absolutely love it! I might only use my actual oven twice a month now! I do want to ask if it's ok to use a large 9 inch square silicone liner? I have used them with old fryers, but since this has the element at the bottom as well, I am uncertain. Lastly, 3 of the 4 bumper stops on the removable grill have snapped off, and I was hoping you knew how to get more "original" parts as I can't reach cosori. Phone lines down and no response from website.
I have had a Cooks Essential airfryer (QVC) for several years. I've used it on and off over years and was pretty satisfied with the results. It was definitely the "original" airfry technology. I've been watching your videos for several months and thinking I needed to upgrade. My old airfryer is the basket type, 5.7qts. The nonstick is wearing off the basket. So, because of this video, I purchased the Duel Blaze on Prime Day. I haven't opened it yet as I am currently very busy with freezing and canning our garden produce. But, I will definitely be cracking that box open soon. I also just watched your side by side comparison to the Pro II. Glad to hear your recipes don't require adjustment using the Duel Blaze as I purchased your cookbook as well. Thanks for your videos. They are very helpful and inspiring.
Hi. i don't think the manual explains what the broil and roast buttons are, broil turns off the bottom burner, but what is roast and bake ? i thought bake would turn the fan off but it doesn't.
What about the rubber stoppers on the grill plate do you have to replace them? What about the robber burning into your food since it’s so close to the bottom element
Can you use your cookbook recipes, cooking times, etc with the dual blaze air fryer? I am trying to figure out which air fryer to purchase. I am new. Thank you for the video.
I love mine, except that my fire alarm goes off every time I cook anything that I have to use oil on...even a small foil wrapped roasted garlic. I rigged up a fan to blow whenever I turn on the fryer, but it still goes off. I cannot move the alarm or even turn it off because it is wired into the wall. This will be fun in the Winter when I cannot open my windows. My new plan is to keep ear protectors handy...lol.
@@empoweredcooks Avocado in the spray from the store (purchased before I received the Mistifi spray bottle that you recommend from Amazon). I roasted garlic...cut end, sprayed with avocado oil, etc...and I did not spray into the basket, but before I put it into the basket. Maybe it is something in the spray, but it is "Simply Naturals" from Aldis and lists avocado oil as the only ingredient. I received the Mistifi bottle, filled it with avocado oil and will try that next time. Maybe it will make a difference. I don't have a problem with frozen foods so far or toast (I learned how to make gluten free bread crumbs...yeah!). I am new at this and just got the air fryer about 2 weeks ago, so I am learning as I go. Thank you for replying. Love your cookbook...just received it less than a week ago. Love the gluten free recipes, THANK YOU! God Bless you and your family! 💜✝️🙏🏼✝️💜
Hmm, interesting that that is happening because avocado oil has a really high smoke point so it shouldn't be smoking. You could try contacting the manufacturer and see if they have any suggestions for why this is happening. And, thank you so much for your support, I appreciate it so much!! 💗
@@empoweredcooks I have not had the fire alarm problem in quite a while and I use the air fryer quite a bit. I wonder if it was because the machine was new and burning some chemical off? Interesting.
I have been on the hunt for my first air fryer. Love the looks and functionality of the dual blaze. Getting ready to order from your store. I watched your bread video. Have you tried bread in the dual blaze? I would love to see how that bakes. Would you need to use a Pullman in the dual blaze since it has the bottom burner? I am also interested in your cookbook. Will the recipe times and temperatures transfer directly to the dual blaze? Thanks for you outstanding videos. You are an excellent teacher.
Hi. Just want to. check , i had just bougth new. First time we test. It was so quiet, then the new 2 days it was a bit noise with fan. Is it same experienced you had?
Of course the Queen of Cosori is going to love the new air fryer!! I don't know why all AF weren't given the bottom burner. Personally I won't ever get the jumbo version, as I live alone and only cook for me, but it's nice to know they have that one available. Hmmmm.........I wonder if you can bake a cake in it?
Hallo my dear. I have been using my dual on airfryer mode to cook samosas. Just a little bit of oil in the base and up to 10 samosas brushed with oil and turned over every few minutes. Till crispy and brown. Not far behind samosas cooked in a oil fryer but far less oil used I cook on airfryer mood. At ,,205 ,centregrade. These are mutton and chicken samosas.try it they not bad
I've had this air fryer for a few weeks and I had no idea I could change the preset settings. That's awesome. I guess I should have read the instructions better, lol.
@@empoweredcooks so if price is not a factor. And it was you choosing one or the other, does the dual blaze just do a better job or make no real difference?
@@jadejensen4990 final result is the same. It's really just a little more room and never needing to flip or shake that is awesome! The cook time is still ending up the same as far as I can tell.
I'm looking at buying my FIRST Air Fryer and the Dual Blaze is the top contender. I've watched your videos a lot. What do you have the unit sitting on top of on your counter? And what do you place the basket on when you pull it out? Thanks so much! I'm really looking forward to NOT heating up my kitchen. I appreciate all your help.
I have the Cosori 5 quart and the Dual Blaze. Oddly enough, I like the simpler 5 quart better. Yes I have to flip or stir with the older model but I get more consistent cooking and browning with it compared to the Dual Blaze. Also the Dual Blaze has many features that I just don't use that often. Too much of a good thing for me I guess.
Great review!! Your review got me to buy the Dual Blaze because I was looking for an air fryer that cooks from both top and bottom which would eliminate requirement to flip the food half way through cooking. After a few weeks of trying lots of different food items I learned that there is way more heat from the top than the bottom. As a matter of fact after air frying a frozen burger for 12min at 400F, the bottom of the burger was nearly ice cold. When I contacted Cosori, aka Arovast aka Vesync, they agreed to a refund especially since most Cosori complaints have the same issue. As an air fryer guru with lots of energy and exuberance have you found any air fryers that actually does what the Dual Blaze claims to do?
Hi .I like watching your video, I learn a lot from you. I have Cosori (with basket) for about 1 year now, today a bought dual blaze and I have question in the cooking functions is :roast and broil do you use it ? I have to understand what this functions is for. Thanks
Great question, Grace. AIR FRY- top heating element is on HIGH heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat BAKE- top heating element is on LOW heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat BROIL- top heating element is on HIGH heat & the lower heating element has NO heat ROAST- top heating element is on MEDIUM heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat
Great review!! I love my Dual Blaze. I’ve had mine for a couple months now, and don’t miss the basket of my old one. Being blind, Alexa and app are so much easier than having to label buttons with braille dots. A hint for removing hot tray… silicone finger covers work great. 😊
That's fantastic that it helps make cooking accessible for you

This is great. I was waiting for your review. I love Cosori and I recommend it all the time. I bought mine 2 years ago and I’m so glad I did. It took me till last month to convince my 84 year old father to get one. He kept saying, I’ll never use it it. Well, proved him wrong. He uses it all the time. He loves it. Just landed my dual blaze A F. For 60.00 on Amazon during prime days! It will be here on Monday!!!
I use that feature as well! Every time!! Lol!
Isn't it dangerous to pour hot oil in to a cold glass jar? Won't it crack? Did you allow it to cool first? Or was it special glass? Just wondering.
Do you use the Alexa command to preheat or you mean you do that instead of dealing with the touch screen?
Pro tip: The parchment paper air fryer liners have been an absolute game changer for me! It keeps all the mess on the paper and I only wash the the basket after cooking something super messy or after two or three uses. Makes a huge difference when not having to hand wash and finish by throwing the basket into the dishawashwer every night. Makes me want to use the air fryer more!
But not for this one because we have top and bottom heating elements…
Thanks for recommending Cosori to me!
can you use the paper liners with the dual heating elements?
@@grandmabourke
Absolutely!
The absolute best feature is not having to stop in the middle of the cooking. I did a 4 pound chicken. Everything is so easy to clean. Customer Service is the best. Did more for me than what I asked for!
I found your channel and went and bought the Dual Blaze. I am so glad that I did. Great review.
Yay! I love to hear that you are finding joy with your air fryer!
Thank you for your honest review of this fryer
Thanks for doing this video finally! I’ve been debating if I need to get it… and was waiting for your opinion as you are the queen of air fryers!!! You are the reason I got my Cosori 2 years ago! I have seen people put a bit of tinfoil over the finger holes to stop smaller food from falling down, or a small sling to help lift it out. I love the ability to reprogram the presets, didn’t know that was an option! I think I may have to gift myself one very soon…
Hi Michelle! Thanks for the tips about the finger holes. I'll have to try that out! I am glad you are still enjoying your Cosori though :)
You didn’t mention the fact that when you choose Broil only the top burner comes on. I find that function really handy for example making a sub sandwich opening it up and heating up the insides but not getting the bun too crispy.
That's a great point! Thanks for sharing, Jim!
@@empoweredcooks I love my 6.8, I love Cosori customer service, but I am disappointed that the instructions with it are the bare minimum. I had to figure out the Broil function on my own they don’t mention it anywhere. I love your videos BTW.
How did you figure that out? I was thinking that I didn't see that written anywhere in the instructions either.
Hi Rosemary! 👋 I am so glad the cosori is working out well for you!
Thank you for the review. I’ve been researching this air fryer. I bought the Gourmia at Costco, but had to take it back after the 4th time using it. The tray would not close on one side. So you had me when you said the tray closed easily. ☺️
Hope you like it! Here is the link: amzn.to/3LXpMQs
You can call or email Gourmia and they will send you the new model bottom plate free of charge and no postage
Very interesting and informative as usual. That steak recipe looks delicious.
My daughter finally opened the AF I got her a couple of years ago. Lol. I don't think she's as enamored with it as I hoped, but at least she's using it occasionally.
Ha ha! Yay for your daughter! Maybe it'll grow on her. :)
Good luck.
The bake cycle is fantastic, bottom coil on bake is a lower temp than the top coil love this feature
I like the basket on my Pro 2, so won't be upgrading to this model. Hopefully they come out with one with dual heaters and the original basket.
Thank you so much, Diane. That is so sweet of you!

Thanks for the excellent reviews. Love my new Cosori Dual and use it daily.
I just found your videos recently and settled on this model. I love it! Do you have a video that actually explains the difference in each button and what a difference on each kind of food.
I purchased the dual blaze just before taking your online class. I love it! I only looked at the Cosori line-up because of your recommendation.
Hi Linda! Thanks for sharing your testimonial with everyone! :)
Cathy I agree with you on Casori customer service I had my duel blaze that I bought in 2022 it just quit working and they sent me a new replacement.
I have the regular basket Cosori and I love it so much, I have considered buying another for multiple cooking. This one seems neat but just doesn't feel necessary.
I've been testing fun uses for the dual burner functionality. I'm liking it more and more! But I can understand sticking with what works and what you know.
@@empoweredcooks If I was in the market for a fryer and didn't have one I might start with this. I do love the basket though, so darn handy.
Yes, I totally get that.
Thanks for sharing your review, @Sky Kitchen
It’s a great option for people with disabilities like myself. I won’t have to get up and down so much to check on things. Mines on order now. So excited to be able to cook for myself! Thanks for sharing your views. Reviews and comments like this are what helped me choose the right product for me😊.
@@AnnaMMPlaysGames Thank you for your reply, you will love your air fryer I'm excited for you! Happy cooking and Merry Christmas to you :)
I just ordered this air fryer on june 3rd. Wife and i saw some bad reviews and started worrying about it lol thanks for the video now my wife and i feel more happy of receiving this product tomorrow 😊
Hope you enjoy!
Good Morning Cathy! I absolutely love mine and it pairs wonderfully with your cookbook and all your recipes.
Hi Ellen!
I am so happy to hear this, Ellen! :)
@@empoweredcooks Thanks Cathy🤗
Ellen, I had a T-11 to S-1 total spine replacement, last year, enabling me to stand up straight. It was a blessing. Best wishes as you heal.
Beautiful video ❤️! Thanks for sharing 🤗🥰! Your daughter was killing me with the bacon 🥓🤣!
best cosori dual blaze review. convinced!
Question...I've been seeing in the reviews the issue from having the bottom heating element causing smoke while items are cooking. The grease that drips below the drip try being so close apparently causes this. Was this your experience?
I have the same questions.
I add a bit of water under the the tray to catch the grease. Doesn't take much & seems to keep it from smoking.
I ❤️ love ❤️ watching your Cosori reviews. I have NO cabinet space in my horrible kitchen-I'd buy a kitchen island just for one of these lol.
That bacon grease would be great in turnip, collard or mustard greens! I save and strain bacon grease and use it in fresh green beans and all sorts of veggies!
I like this review, too. But the height is a problem for me. My cabinets are just 14 1/2 inches from my countertops.
Can’t wait for your recipes with this AF given times and temps have to change. Also tips on when to use the tray
I have one too, and I really like it. I also have the 5.8 qt Cosori, still use it too. Like them both
Thanks so much for this video!
I haven't tried the chicken wings in it yet! But I imagine they are incredible! Thanks for sharing your experience with it!
Good video... it was only abt a "review" of your new AF... To the point, and not a lot of mixed up content. Really love your recipes, when I can get to them quickly. You made me drool & now I want steak, and a Corsori AF! 😊
Ha ha, thanks for the compliment! Go enjoy some steak tonight!
Great video as always ❤️ my Cosori 5.8 . May just have get this new model . Thank you so much Cathy 💜
Can you use the basket in this air fryer? Have best of both worlds
Hej Cathy, i watched your live video yesterday. Du you recommend to preheat the Dual Blaze for this kind of steak yesterday?
Thank you 💖💖
Cathy, thank you for doing this review.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share, Amy! That is wonderful to hear that you are loving it!
It looks nice and it seams to make good results, thank you for your review, love it! ❤ 🤗 😊
Hi Ron, you do NOT need to preheat the Dual Blaze!
You're so welcome! I think needing to actually touch it to start is probably a safety feature?
@@empoweredcooks yeah that is a possibility but I might as well punch in the temp and time at the home base. I gotta go back there anyway to hit start 😁
You can also set it with Alexa, and you don’t have to touch it to start it. I use that function sometimes when I am in the kitchen, and I’m in the middle of something else. I like getting the notifications on my Fitbit from the air fryer as well.
I haven't done anything with the Alexa yet. So I will have to get that lined up because I use Alexa for a ton of other things! :) Thanks Wendy!
Correct? Thx
My wife has the basic dual air fryer. She loves it.
Cosori has RECALLS ON THE OLDER ONES.
Yes! Here is my video about the recall: th-cam.com/video/3TSlO2QKDWg/w-d-xo.html
Great video thanks I’m a huge fan. I’m wondering could you cook a stew in the new dual Cosori? 🙂
Hi, can you please tell me what dimensions for baking tray I have to choose for Cosori Dual Blaze?
Got bacon grease? Instant Pot refried beans using bacon grease in place of lard works well. Amazon sells strainers for collecting and storing the grease.
Hello there. Can you bake cakes in this? If so, how do they turn out? X
Is there any concern of scorching the counter top because of the lower burner being so close to the counter surface?
Thankyou i was interested but after you showed dumping out think i will give it a miss and keep using my smaller one thx
ok well thanks! im buying this now, lol. my other AF is dying making super loud noises and shakes. not a cosori but ... im gonna give this one a try. in europe but i reckon its about the same other than the voltage.
Is it ceramic coated basket ?
I made something similar last week ut cooked for longer but it was as tough as old boots. So 6 mins and it's tender? Thanks Kathy
Excellent video. Thanks is so much!
I wonder why they made the max temp at 400 degrees when the 4 and 5 quart ones are 450.
I don’t know how I got my Dual Blaze on Celsius can you tell me how to change it back to Fahrenheit, I am unable to figure it out.
Been thinking whether the dual was worth it and this video sold it. Thanks
Can you use your cookbook recipes, cooking times, etc with the dual blaze air fryer? I am trying to figure out which air fryer to purchase. I am new. Thank you for the video.
I am wanting to purchase this air fryer just wanted to asked how has it held up
I love mine, except that my fire alarm goes off every time I cook anything that I have to use oil on...even a small foil wrapped roasted garlic. I rigged up a fan to blow whenever I turn on the fryer, but it still goes off. I cannot move the alarm or even turn it off because it is wired into the wall. This will be fun in the Winter when I cannot open my windows. My new plan is to keep ear protectors handy...lol.
Oh no! What kind of oil are you using?
Could be... glad it is better now.
Thanks a great question, I haven't tried this!
Ha ha! I'm glad you learned something! :)
Can I cook pasta or rice in the bottom? If yes @ what temp. Love my Cosori Dual Blaze.
So if you were buying your first air fryer would you go with the regular 5.8 qrt or the 5.8 qrt dual blaze?
Either air fryer is great. If price is a concern, then go with the regular 5.8 quart air fryer.
You have the old 5 quart model or the new pro ii model?
@@logarttreiton2569 COSORI Air Fryer Pro LE 5-Qt, Model Number CAF-L501-KUS, ASIN B0936FGLQS
Broil is always just the top element.
AIR FRY- top heating element is on HIGH heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat
BAKE- top heating element is on LOW heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat
BROIL- top heating element is on HIGH heat & the lower heating element has NO heat
ROAST- top heating element is on MEDIUM heat & the lower heating element is on HIGH heat
This one is on sale for Prime Day on Amazon, at least in Canada it is... be sure to get one
