Koreans had amazing bow design, and skills since the very past and the Japanese had amazing sword design and skills since the very past. Obviously, Koreans would do well because of their long bow-manship, while maybe if Koreans were to compete in Kendo, I would think that Japan would have better skills.
Well Korea can participate if they want, the team is good because they actually try. If other nations try as hard as korea, they can be just as good. As an archer, I have gone through this. You have to practice a lot to be good, and that is what kirea is doing.
janice lee its not bc korea js “tries harder,” its bc of the established system to scout talent and nurture that said talent from a young age, with an established system which has been proven to be successful. archery in korea can be a job, smth u can live off of, bc of the existence of pro/company teams.

Korea was a victim of war like France to Nazi Germany but gets divided up by the U.S. and Russia. Thanks for the liberation and all but why not give half of japan to the soviets and let the peaceful koreans keep their land? This never made any sense to me.
Are you trolling? Give these guys a longbow and ask them to trick shoot. They'll be completely out of their element, in every sense of the word. Same for "Robin Hood" or the guy that Robin Hood was based off of. Give Robin Hood an Olympic recurve and he would have no idea what to do. It's like comparing football and rugby. They're both sports that have a similar shaped ball, but the sports are still very different from each other, so why even compare them?

Koreans have their own sword techniques and systems. Their Armor was always better than Japanese, or Chinese armors.
Korea took 2018, too. Please do not participate in 2019, so other nations can take it too. It is just nerve wrecking going against Korea.
