In Heat of the Night I loved the MM relationship but couldn't really believe them falling for the girl so much and so fast.
The Made series was fantastic, especially books 2 & 3.

And can I say how happy it makes me to see the Lyla James trilogy on your list, that whole series is fabulous (and that beginning in book one is epic ---I just laughed when I first read it)...have you read his brother's duo series yet? If you like unique takes have you read Sarah Castille's mafia series? It has a fun take that I loved especially with the heroine's career choice and the series features a great male friendship. Raze by Tillie Cole is really well done as well (she just does superb dark romance). Or The Kiss Thief by LJ Shen? Okay I will stop now LOL

I'm in the middle of #3 of the Filthy Feckers right now, and I'm wondering how you'd like this one (it's got your *favorite* trope of all time).
Oh I'm already reading it. It has my 1 exception to the rule. Mafia. Momma's can hide their children from the Mafia. No questions asked. I have about 60 pages left before I fell asleep last night. haha!
@@TheBookRefuge Haha , same. You might like Condemned to Love by Siobhan Davis, then. Also a secret baby hidden from the mafia, though considerably less time has passed. Currently a standalone, though there are already two sequels with other in-universe couples in the works.

Can you read filthy rich as a stand alone
You can generally read a lot of series like this as Stand alones if you really want to. I just don't recommend it, because Filthy really sets it all up the world and a lot of the characters.
