Hi there, honestly the Pat McGrath astrals are far more true + uniformly "glittery" than Roen's Disco. I'd describe the latter more like flakes or scales of metallic shimmer, suspended in oil. It also dries out and gets hard to pick up. Good for a messy scatter of flecks vs Pat's veil of glimmer that's far more glam and predictable. Hope that helps! xoxo Diana
The disco eye topper is so beautiful, and I definitely think that one would be more versatile long-term. When it comes to quads I always feel like I have to LOVE all four shades or it isn’t worth it, you know? It’s tough to feel that for most, because each shade needs to be so versatile.
I love quads because they can play off each other to build a look that a single shadow can never achieve. All-sparkle shadow quads, though, work as four single shadows for me - totally agree that you gotta love 'em all! oxoxo
