    I'm engineer and you are talking BS. There are other reasons why 12V lead acid might need a trickle charger, but I will not help you guys for free. Also MODE button fails too fast, like other said.

    Solution: Upgrade your alternator. There are companies that cater to either off roaders or sound competition guys that usually have an alternator that will have more capacity than the stock one and often times its a straight forward swap.

    Twice a year leave your battery on trickle charge for a day or two set maximum voltage to 15V and calculate current by having it around 0.05C (for 50Ah battery it will be 2.5A, for 70Ah 3.5A etc) Battery will last many years.

    Put some powerpoint or presentation slides or notes.
    Talk only from beginning till end, boring. With slide, you can make wnd user focus and entertain too ;)

      Absolutely! I was interested in the topic but I was barely able to listen.
      However, some people can talk for 30 minutes while the audience stays focused. But standing still and talking calmly won't get you there.

    My advice is to do a car computer reset and and reset the car alternator and the battery will last As long the original battery and if you're always charging the battery All The Time your car is losing electricity some where

    I got one 70A 12V CTEC on my desk. Very expensive, very complicated, very broken and designed not to be serviced. And it has hand written Chinese text inside. So it is probably made in china. Looks nice though.

    Not even a convincing sales pitch. I used to design battery chargers and this is quite misleading. Lots of half truths. I will not be buying.

    Thank you; an informative video. I have a CTEK charger and use it every now and then on each of my VW's ( MK 6Golf and recent T Cross). They both usually do short runs and the AGM battery on the T-Cross was flat. Since then I have recharged and had a 500km drive. Do I need to use the Recond. mode if a battery has flattened?

    alternator has nothing to do with battery not charging any car alternator is more then capable to charge lead acid batteries but the problem is in the charge programing by each manufacturer especially after 2015 the reason its not charging is because its designed not to charge all the time and this ca be tested by anyone with a voltage display 12v plug have a look at the voltage when you accelerate and when you use engine braking and you will see voltage goes up to around 14.8v depending on manufacturer every time engine is rotated by the wheels and after this or when accelerating charging stops because voltage drops significantly to around 12.8v its all about marketing to sell more 12v batteries nothing more and nothing less or in other words consumerism

      @@marbesky BMW has intelligent charging algorithm since 2006 and newer cars. their batteries last around 9...13 years depending on some factors...

      @tarassu old cars were built to last
      New cars are pure shit boxes that run fine-ish warranty time only
      Many cars back then we're charging the batteries full time 14.8v-15v while the engine was on but now it charges only when car is in engine brake to reduce fuel consumption and that's dumb
