I’d dig it! I’ve been watching your videos for a while and recently just met “Pirate Mike “. Now it’s BOTH your fault that I’ve put my rod & reel in the garage and going to start this new hobby 😊 I should be on the sand by Wednesday. I live near Huntington Harbor so maybe we’ll bump into each other soon! My wife THANKS you guys for giving me a hobby where I don’t come home smelling like FISH 😂
I still carry my fishing gear in the car because there are time the fishing is better than the detecting. Good Luck and I am sure we will run into each other.

Two right in a row! Reminds me of a time I found a silver ring "spill" in SD. It was in an area where they occasionally have a farmers market... I figure a vendor must have accidentally dumped their merch (five brand new silver rings within a three foot radius). Great vid Jim, hope to see you out there someday!

It is all in good fun, Brad has a heart of GOLD and that is why I enjoy spending time detecting with him. I would have loved to see him pull a 3rd ring from the sand in that spot that would have been funny. Thank You 👍

I'd dig it. However, my detector can switch all metal to coin to jewelry. Ace 250 with nels coil tornado. Weird signal with iron coin with junk ring.

Hey Jim, I was curious to know what your record for most rings found in one metal detecting outing? Last weekend I detected for 2 hours 45 minutes in a school tot lot and dug 12 rings. My old record was 6. one of the rings was silver and also dug a 925 moon charm. Also happened to get a 14k gold baptism pendant too. For this week's would you dig it I will guess Silver cross
Awesome good for you, I think 11 rings maybe in one outing, though 19 for the day. Lots of gold and silver that day as I dug a lot of targets including gold & silver chains, pendants and earrings. What settings are you using for beach. Please give full settings . Thanks.
Beach 2 in wet, beach 1 in dry, Fe6 iron bias mostly, recovery 4 in wet usually, recovery 6 dry usually, adjust sensitivity as needed keeping as high as I can but remaining stable.

Sounds bleak hunting but it's still fun. Got md yesterday , found a no 10 bolt , a small metal plate I think came from my old Ford explorer, nail clippers , got the carrot today found a nail, all in my back yard. Yet it still seems interesting to me
