Okay I guess I'm the ignorant one here I never heard of rewriting the Bible your own use. I don't understand why anybody would want to ride it when they've got it printed out before them somebody help me understand this please❤ thank you

Hello Patty! I'm a 27-year-old woman from the Netherlands who found Jesus at the beginning of the year. In the Netherlands, we have something called a copy bible (overschrijfbijbel). Where you have the scripture on the left, and a lined space on the right. I own a Psalms copy Bible. I haven't gotten very far yet but it's so relaxing and so fun! Your video has inspired me so much. I decided that for my "life list" I want to write the entire bible like you! There are sadly no blank bibles sold in the Netherlands so instead I put the NKJ Interleaved Bible in my cart. I subscribed to you and I look forward watching more of your content! Lastly I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your handwriting and that I love your accent! God bless! ❤

Great tips! For myself, having a pen that is comfortable to hold and reliable inking makes scripture writing so much more pleasant. I tried a variety of pens and pencils until I found the ones that worked best for me, then bought them in bulk. Have a blessed day.
I use my tablet. I have a cover on the screen that makes it feel like paper and use a pen to write. That, I would say, is the most economical, and I can keep all of it through moving houses and stuff without having all the extra notebooks to carry around.

You should see medieval illuminated manuscripts, which were very elaborately illustrated and written in Gothic style calligraphy with chisel point quills and took several years to produce in the scripturiums of monasteries and convents.
I would love to do this. I'm a senior and have no kids or nieces/nephews to leave something like this for...so not sure if this is a worthy endeavor for me. But I love the idea. You know, the Kings of Israel were supposed to write out the Law...had they taken that seriously, their history might have been a lot better. That might be true for us as well and worthy of consideration. New subscriber - I loved this video.

Thank you for sharing and giving of your time💕🤗 I started Writing the bible this year using a discbound system. It works really well for me because I can easily add or take out pages. I've started with the smaller books. The discbound system makes it easy to put them in order once I am done.

And I've been watching several others getting ideas. I love to watch the Homespun Wife, with Sherry, she is so sweet and shows how she writes scripture. She also talks about other things as well. Anyway, im not affiliated with any of these ppl it is strictly my opinions etc. Ty for sharing ALL of what u shared. I've never heard of a blank Bible or with or without lines. It is truly neat and so practical I wonder how come u or I or anybody we k would have come up with that ourselves. Lol and I love ur tree and flower idea. Ur tree is so awesome!! This is such a lovely idea. Are you aware that calligraphy paper pads come with cardstock with line guides on that you insert behind your pages. You probably wouldn't use that paper for writing the Bible, but the templates help.

I don't remember the brand-the paper was too expensive for what it was, but I kept the cards for decades. They were 8-1/2 by 11 or maybe 9 x 12 and came in several colors. Might have been Strathmore. A few questions. Could you link to the blank bibles you featured if allowed. How long does it take you personally to write the entire Bible? Is there a plan out there, like writing the entire Bible in a year to go by? Thanks, This is my second year to read the Bible in a year but never thought of writing it out. I spend an hour or two a day reading and writing notes now that I’m retired because I’m a visual learner and enjoy Bible journaling.

My video "Tips for Handwriting Scripture" might be helpful to you. The ESV Bible took me a little over 16 months to write. I don't know of a plan. I wrote almost every day. I did miss a few. I tend to skim when reading and tend to go do rabbit holes during studying. Scripture writing keeps me focused. Also, have problems with OCD. The repetitive motion is calming and productive. For me it's more the journey or process than a finished product. Because when I finish I will just start over.

Tomoe River Paper is also a great idea. It's pretty thin and a lot like bible paper. It also comes in loose leaf packs from Sterling Ink.

Jot is the English term for the Hebrew word for the little mark above Hebraic letter. I had to look it up😊

I tend to skim when reading and tend to go do rabbit holes during studying. Scripture writing keeps me focused. Also, have problems with OCD. The repetitive motion is calming and productive. For me it's more the journey or process than a finished product. Because when I finish I will just start over.
