I doubt Meta will be able to match the Vision Pro specs in 2025. They may get a faster XR processor in there but to match the M2, they’ll need much more. They won’t be able to match the screens in the VP but perhaps they might go slightly higher res. Either way, I think Meta will always make the Quest 4 cheap while the Quest 4s will probably be just the Quest 3. Also, the iPhone 17 being the slim iPhone… hmm, I think expectations around cameras will dictate this. Users won’t tolerate a downgrade in cameras just to make it slimmer as they won’t tolerate a lower battery life. I got the impression the iPhone 17 Air would be super light but compromise the camera and battery life. We’ll see.
