The Italian version is definitely my favourite out of all of the languages. Her voice might sound a bit airy (for lack of a better word) but it's also so pure and clear c':
I find her voice itself to be really beautiful, but her performance sounds a bit too pop, imo :/

Italian is probably 2 or 3 on my list.
I thought she had an airy voice too, but I think it add something to the character, she seems more "human".

In Italy the translation of movies, cartoons and tv series is an art and full of professional. The lyp sync is really important for us they do it even for live action and tv series ;)

For me as Italian i think that the lip sync in this film has been done very badly. Look at Aladdin the 2019 version, that lip sync is beautiful.

Guys, you have to understand that translating the lyrics in a completely literal way is extremely hard, you probably don’t know it because all films from Disney are North Americans, and, consequently, the lips of the character always fit perfectly in the English language
But, if you literally translate it, without adaptations, the song doesn’t fit, so they have to think about a song that makes sense, is similar to the original song and fits the lips of the singer, so is a very hard job
So please, stop saying that songs from other countries are wrong because the lyrics are not 100% like the original and try to think of how hard is the work of people from other countries in the matter of Disney films

It’s actually not true about them having to lip-synch because in frozen none of the characters lip-synch in a different language except for Japanese
Yesss the Americans cannot understand this, but for the rest of the world it is a very difficult and simply incredible job, to be able to translate the music in a way that matches the movements of the mouth, stay with the same sense of the original music, have rhythm and be beautiful. It's an amazing job to admire
it's not a matter of lipsynching, it's a matter of metrics. literal translating would not match with the metrics of the music.
Literally translate a song from any language to another can cause a musical disaster. So, the main job is to ADAPT the song to the language and also sync the labial moves. Very hard job. Said so, With the exception of Disney songs, I totally disagree on people who want an English
version of songs sung in other languages. Its just doesn’t make any sense. Each song is best when left in its original language.

Ella ha perfettamente ragione nell'affermare che una lingua difficilmente può essere tradotta parola per parola. Questo vale soprattutto per i testi di una canzone.
So di cosa parlo! Parlo 7 lingue e so leggere e scrivere ebraico e greco. Capisco e parlo anche un po' di arabo. Le lingue contengono espressioni idiomatiche come, non vedo l'ora di vederla! In English one says, "I cannot wait to see her!" Everyone enjoy the translations as they are and feel Groovy down to the ground with your bad selves!

I really like HFIG in italian, it's one of my favourites... She can sing very well and the lip sync is perfect (the most of the italian dubs are great in lip sync). And if some people say "I don't really like the lyrics 'cause is different from the original one" well guys if you would translate the original version in Italian and then sing it, it would be just horrible 'cause it wouldn't fit with the melody and that's why they can't do a perfect lyrics, but they try to make a lyrics which is similar to the original one... So first think and then comment... buy :3333
Not only that but translating from one language to another, it will never word by word because somethings that makes sense in one language may not make sense in the other language
That is even with TV she theme, they have to make these songs not only catchy and attractive but also understandable to the the audience in their native language.

You know, the "figlia premurosa" was a bit funny for me as for a Russian person, because the word "premurosa" sounds like russian word "мороз" [moroz] which is frost. So it would be like a "girl, frozen solid to something", like to the metal swing if she licks them during the Russian winter (and maybe Italian one, I don't know)

Non ho di che lamentarmi sul testo, ha fatto del suo meglio per mantenere un connubio tra rime, signficato e labiale. Non amo particolarmente le scelte che ha fatto nei ritornelli "...per nome" o "... di trovarmi" perché è come se venisse cantato "... per nomè" e "... di trovarmì" quindi non adoro però non c'era altra scelta data l'evidente "i" che la bocca della bellissima Vaiana produce XD

Mi viene da dire che dopo aver ascoltato tutte le versioni uscite, la nostra ha il labiale più perfetto (so che è osceno dire "più perfetto" ma concedimi la licenza poetica ahhaha) di tutti :p

Nel labiale, io, in realtà, non ho visto la stessa perfezione che aveva in Frozen, (troppe "p, b, m" non rispettate, "f, v" quasi ignorate...), tanto che, sulle prime, mi rifiutavo di credere si trattasse proprio della Brancucci. In generale, diciamo che lo trovo accettabile (perché di sicuro non è fatto male), ma mi manca la raffinatezza di dettagli che c'era in Frozen :/
Sul fatto del "... per nomè" e "... di trovarmì"...francamente, non c'avevo neanche fatto caso ^^" mentre per il resto...allora, il passaggio che più mi irrita, in questa canzone, è probabilmente la seconda strofa, che è stata letteralmente buttata via, come mi hanno fatto notare, per ripetere "Però tutti paiono felici // Hanno quei bei volti sorridenti / Sono sempre contenti", cioè...tre versi su sei buttati per dire esattamente la stessa cosa (come se l'italiano non avesse già i suoi problemi per la lunghezza delle sillabe), senza contare che, la prima volta che l'ho sentita, alla fine della strofa, il mio commento è stato "ok, capito, su quest'isola, tante piantine della felicità" XD Un altro pezzo che mi ha fatto accapponare la pelle è stato, in _We know the way_, "Leggiamo il cielo che è....infallibile" ..."infallibile"...eh? In generale, questi testi mi sembrano molto semplici e un po' troppo raffazzonati, senza eccessiva cura e profondità...sembra quasi che siano stati fatti _di fretta_ (e molti elementi mi fanno pensare che, almeno alla Disney italiana, abbiano avuto problemi di tempo: basti vedere che tutti i trailer sono stati doppiati da doppiatori provvisori, poi sostituiti).
Comunque, grazie mille, è sempre un piacere sentirsi dire queste cose, ovviamente >//
FlamSparks I trailer vengono sempre doppiati dai provvisori quindi su quello non vedo indice di nulla.
Stranamente devo dire la pignoleria sulle dentali e le labiali non mi è mai appartenuta però ne noto una "it calls Me"="per noMe" ad esempio ^^
I testi sono in pieno stile Brancucci (ormai, ormai, ormai... ormai!) ahahhahaha e si, quella parte degli abitanti forse poteva essere adattata diversamente ma credo si sia trattato semplicemente di questioni di rima.
Per la questione del tempo, non so... io ho apprezzato molto "Io sono Vaiana", tutti dicono che non regge un confronto con l'originale, ma non penso sia del tutto così.
E poi segnalo che in quanto a voce e testo "Shiny" è 1000 volte meglio in Italiano! In inglese è inascoltabile a mio parere ed il testo Italiano l'ha resa più gradevole insieme alla voce di Gualazzi.
Mh...sono andata a riguardarmi i trailer di Zootropolis, Big Hero 6, Frozen e Ribelle, e, a parte Baymax e Kristoff, su cui non sono sicura, mi pare che i doppiatori siano gli stessi poi tenuti nel film...
Allora, sul labiale, andandomi a ripescare l'ormai tartassata LIG: "couldn't keeP it in, heaven knows I tried" - "non la ferMerà la mia Volontà" / "conceal, don't Feel" - "così non Va". Li riporto come esempi, per indicare che è questo che intendo con "scrupolosità": il rispetto addirittura di "f" e "v", non solo delle labiali...per quanto riguarda la scarrellata di "ormai", in effetti mi aveva messa in allarme, ma comunque, mi sembravano troppi persino per lei XD Di "io sono Vaiana", il problema, secondo me, è soprattutto la prima parte (in particolare i primissimi versi), che forzano (secondo me) troppo i tempi. Il testo di sicuro non è male, ma è vero che va un po' troppo fuori ritmo, a tratti. "Shiny" non mi dispiace affatto (anche se non mi sono ancora data il tempo di analizzarla a dovere), mentre una che, come testo, proprio non mi è piaciuta è "Tranquilla"...mi ha soprattutto dato fastidio, nei versi "Io devo andar via da qua, tranquilla / Ti devo ringraziare io però", quel "tranquilla" schiaffato in mezzo che proprio non c'entrava mi irrita...poi (e poi chiudo, giuro) un altro elemento ricorrente che non mi è proprio piaciuto è l'eccessiva presenza di inglesismi (per i quali, ho sviluppato una certa sensibilità): è qui a *illuminarmi* (shine on me); *appartengo* a loro, ormai (I belong with them)...Non lo so...mi danno un senso di superficialità...

The lyrics are not bad at all but they give me the impression that Vaiana is an outsider whereas she is all the contrary, she speaks of freedom...but girl you are actually free XD Don't act as if the role of chief does not matter for you or is a burden. Somehow, Vaiana WANTS to stay because she is aware of her role and it is not like she refuses it.

XD Et la part du "I know everybody on this island", je ne la comprende pas : ils ont gâché une gâche tout entière pour répéter trois fois precisement la même chose ["Yet everybody seems happy // They all have those cheerful faces / They’re always delighted"]... Pourquoi ?! Sa voix est belle et je crois que l'entière performance sois techniquement bien fait (et j'adore comme je peux entendre son sourire pendant qu'elle chante), mais...pour le reste, ça reste une chanson pop. Quel dommage :/
Ahaha non lasciarti impressionare! Per quanto io mi ostini a commentare in francese, so che le frasi che compongo sono zeppe di errori, soprattutto quando tento di complicarle un po'. In generale, direi che ho un livello avanzato di inglese (per quanto lo stia trascurando da un po', cucciolo T^T), una sorta di livello intermedio in francese, mentre sono principiante in svedese (ma dato che ho in programma di trascorrere un anno in Svezia, credo che la situazione cambierà presto * ^ *). Al di là di queste, che sono le lingue che posso dire di conoscere _attivamente_ (cioè in cui so comporre frasi anche solo basilari), si aggiungono danese e norvegese (e un pochinoinoino di islandese), che sto affrontando solo a livello di comprensione passiva perché somigliano molto allo svedese, lo spagnolo, di cui ho acquisito una buona comprensione (ma, di nuovo, non so usarla attivamente) e il coreano, che ho studiacchiato un po', a differenza delle precedenti, ma di cui non possiedo una conoscenza sufficientemente solida per poter dire di conoscerla attivamente (però mi ritrovo spesso confermato che ne ho una comprensione discreta, per quanto limitata io mi senta con esso, il che mi rassicura)

Comunque, la prima cosa che ho fatto appena ho sentito la canzone è stata far particolare attenzione al testo.
Anche se il resto non mi piace moltissimo, continuerò ad adorare il penultimo ritornello, ma in particolare il verso "Sembra quasi che speri anche lei di trovarmi". Nella sua semplicità, lo trovo splendido. Non saprei definire bene il perché...
Sul fatto del labiale, beh, non hai molti torti. Io non l'avevo notato perché, prima di oggi, non avevo sentito la canzone insieme al video. Però in alcune non è curato del tutto. È decente, sì, ma non perfetto come farebbe la Brancucci.
Chissà se sia stata lei ad adattare oppure no... Sul suo sito ufficiale non leggo ancora nulla, ma non so se perché non è stato ancora aggiornato o se non è stata effettivamente lei...

Anche io son così: la prima cosa che controllo è il labiale, ma solo quando sto vedendo il video. Se non ho il video a disposizione, mi "arrangio" andando un po' a memoria. Infatti a me sembrava che il labiale fosse perfetto per quanto riguarda la nostra versione, ma in realtà non è proprio così...

FlamSparks più che altro sono curioso di sapere un parere su tutto il film, considerando ogni cosa....per esempio io sono patito di frozen (lo reputo il miglior film di animazione mai visto) e però anche oceania mi ha impressionato...molto bello colorato, canzoni allegre (anche se alcune hanno una melodia di già sentito, non hai avuto anche tu questa sensazione?), trama ridotta al minimo ma secondo me efficace, finale spettacolare

Ok, allora...visto che mi hai citato Frozen, ti dirò che io, invece, non vado matta per quel film. Lo considero valido, ma l'ho trovato troppo farraginoso, con canzoni di qualità troppo incostante (insomma...mi riesce difficile accostare una canzone come la reprise di _For the first time in forever_ ad una canzonetta come _Fixer upper_). Mentre, in _Oceania_, trovo le canzoni tutte rispettabilmente belle, e anche la meno interessante (che, secondo me, è _Where you are_), riesce comunque a difendersi bene e a non sfigurare nell'insieme. La storia mi è piaciuta, anche se, con tutti gli elementi innovativi che aveva (sono rimasta *molto* positivamente colpita dall'assenza di un vero e proprio antagonista), non osava neanche troppo; ma, nel complesso, l'ho trovata molto gradevole, scorrevole e ben articolata, senza falle o elementi fuori luogo. E la colorazione era splendida. Un'armonia di colori, soprattutto sulle isole, incantevole. Non lo reputo il miglior capolavoro della Disney, ma sicuramente un gran bel lavoro.
Ti ringrazio davvero tanto, significa molto, per me ^-^ E so cosa intendi: abbattere il muro della lingua "non scritta" è sempre una parte difficile dell'apprendimento. Persevera, e vedrai che ne uscirai [le lingue sono così: per affrontarle, serve una bella dose di pazienza e caparbietà] ;)
FlamSparks ah giusto manca un vero antagonista, non ci avevo fatto caso, ora che mi ci fai pensare....mancherebbe anche il classico principe azzurro ma era quasi ovvio che qui non ci fosse, visto fin da subito qual era l'obiettivo della protagonista.
Per Frozen ti posso dire che ho trovato ottime tutte le canzoni (effettivamente fixie upper è la più monotona) e secondo me si reggono tutte benissimo da sole in piedi, ma ognuno ha ovviamente i suoi gusti...(poi io in particolare ho adorato soprattutto le due serene che, per essere alla loro prima esperienza di doppiaggio, hanno fatto un ottimo risultato ed entrambe hanno voci bellissime).
Grazie per il tuo tempo, fa piacere confrontarsi qua sul tubo visto che io ho 25 anni e sono quasi preso in giro perché ancora guardo i film Disney a casa o al cinema 😆
