This skit here, I nearly died laughing at this, my mate told me about how good it was and I tuned in to see it. Been a fan ever since. Total mental humour.
I remember turning VRBNO on, with no idea what it was about, and it was the episode with the Living Carpets. I just couldn't stop laughing. Been a massive fan ever since - my favourite evah comedians!
It's what got me tuned into them, before I saw this, I wondered what planet they were from. This and Novelty Island (the penguin that regurgitated shrimps when it heard the Ten Commandments) and I was hooked.
It’s the comments they make nothing of that always seem to resonate with me the most. Like “You would have thought the situation would have been resolved after lethal weapon 2”
I was in that studio audience. I nearly wet myself laughing.
As long as it raised awareness, that's the important thing
Plenty more meetings to be held above pubs.

First thing i remember of these guys was turning the tv to C4 out of curiosity, 1990. They did the Sean Connery one and i nearly died laughing.

@@v00n2000 L`aaaaaard ,novelty island & Lister were just genius
Almost caught myself doing the "luuub-ub-ub-ub" limber thing at the gym the other day.
Right now, I needed a good laugh, and I found it in this crazy sketch of the Jimmy Hill "face covering", which I remember with hilarity.

I’ve been looking for that clip for the last 10 years!!! Can’t believe I’ve found it 🤣🤣

Around 30 for me!
Also, “Acton” on Bob’s shirt is 👌🏽
How do you even explain this? An abiding memory, as funny as ever.
Funniest thing ever - “Dennis Potter’s bread bin” is the GOAT.
Everybody loved big night out at my school back in the day.
My brain when ‘oh hello’ when Vic ripped that shirt
I dunno why this is so funny but it has me in tears every time
This performance is called “A taste of Tia Maria”🤣
"very poor"

Yes, I think it really captures the zeitgeist of modern day mores. Apparently.
Vic looked like Dave Davies back then.
Pure comedy bronze
One of the funniest things ever
A stupid and random question but does anyone know the name of the piece of music that is used during this routine?. It sounded familiar.
They did one with Sean Connery for a face mask i think
I'm thinking that was the live show. Could be wrong.
@@MrChuckDugan Just realised i'd commented. Don't think the notification bell told me at the time. Positive it was series 1 spring '90

Did anyone else find this a bit creepy? 😂
No it's inspired me to stay at home for a self imposed lockdown
Vic's not fascinated with Bra's
