I really like Eve. His vocal rhythms really make him stand out to me. It's actually kind of hard for me to imagine the kind of vocal rhythms he does working over less math rocky guitars. He's got a background in vocaloid production, so I guess it's on brand to do interesting vocal effect stuff.
@@vulmere I like him, too. Sometimes I find myself liking a song and finding out it was him after the fact. Like, I had no idea he was in the Mob Choir (for the Mob Psycho OP themes) at first.
The density of syllables and musical and lyrical ideas in this and other Japanese contemporary offerings is quite an assault, compared generally to Western tracks. If there were a castle on a hill here, it’s had its whole history told in detail. More challenge, more reward for the listener. More please.
EVEEEEEE!! My favorite artist, and the perfect artist to get into Japanese music imo. Their songs almost always have really good basline's and guitar, so i think you’ll love their discography. Raison d'etre, dramaturgy, and how to eat life, next!
Eve is one of the greatest! I'm pretty sure he fully composes his own songs, too. You should definitely react to more of his songs! I strongly recommend Dramaturgy, How to eat life (a prequel to Fight Song), Tokyo Ghetto, Outsider
Man, this song oozes personality, and the video makes me realize how much I miss watching anime. ='( Also, the fake outakes at the end are pretty hilarious!
There is so much good stuff going on in this song that I am not sure why it didn't grab me more. Loved the instrumentation, did not mind the singing, loved the vocal effect and yet still not sure if I like it or not. As for the vocal effect, it made me think of one of those hand held voice box things someone with a stoma might have.
Well here we go again. I discovered so many Artist and Songs through all these Anime Opening/Ending Tracks ... it´s just Insane. Please check out Aimer , zankyou sanka th-cam.com/video/tLQLa6lM3Us/w-d-xo.html . I am addicted to that Song. Btw OF CAUSE from an Anime ( Demon Slayer )
“Fight Song” is the ending song of the 12th (and last episode) of Chainsaw Man’s first season. Eve has other great songs. I would like to recommend you some other “pop” artists I really like: ZUTOMAYO (pop with funk, jazz and rock), Yorushika (pop rock with sparkles of funk and jazz), YOASOBI (pop funk electronic).
You need more views, I really enjoy you breaking down the musical genres and actually listening to each part of the track.
I agree!!!

You should check out Tatsuya Kitani, he has math rocky guitars too lol, he made a song with eve and his music is really good!

@@T7Karou Thanks for the tip.
More Eve songs, please! Love his voice and every one of his songs is composed so well and they're all catchy as hell! Nice reaction)
Oh god, please more Eve. He's great. "How to eat a life", "Raison d'etre", and "Yamiyo (dark night)" 👏👏

Hmmm, kinda sounds like what a lone Pigeon would do, Po. 🕊️ If one would, but one doesn't, so we will never know.
Nice song, really interesting how the vocals dance around

Nice pick. I was trying to figure out where to get Mark started with Aimer. I'd suggested Us live.

Wait, I'm pretty sure you had reacted to this song before. And I even commented here. Is this a reupload? Or I'm just being hit by Mandela effect? O_o
実際日本の音楽シーンは結構複雑なことやってる。
