At that time Arsenio Hall had a great show that not onlybspoke to black people but to all people. The artist and stars that would not have been on T.V. at that time had a forum on his show. If I can get that entire shows seasons on video I'm there. This is a great example!!! Stan.
It’s “Election Day Eve,2024 and I remember this classic show so very vividly. This performance could have only happened on The Arsenio Hall show which premiered on January 3, 1989 and ran until May 27, 1994. We have since lost a number of the legendary artist featured in this tribute show to the late Nelson Mandela who would eventually be set free and become the President of South Africa🇿🇦 Recently this year (September 10, 2024), we lost Howard Stanley Beverly -AKA- “Frankie” Beverly. May the spirits of each of the legends we’ve lost, Rest in Peace 🕊️
RIP Nelson R. Mandela 1918-2013. Like President Obama said, you "belong to the ages, now." You are now in a better place, where you will NEVER be in chains again. My prayers go with all your family, friends and supporters in S. Africa, and also the entire world over. God Bless!

I wish the interview part was connected to this. If very hard find Frankie Beverly interviews. Especially on Arsenio Hall.
He rarely did any.
Absolutely WICKED choir and performance.
