I’m watching this video in preparation of installing this setup on my 16 Ultra Limited Low and I noticed the MotorTrike Reverse gear on Michael’s bike.
The MotorTrike Reverse Gear is the most beneficial upgrade (after the Custom Dynamics Beast Air Horn) I’ve done to my Ultra Limited! It opens up a lot of parking possibilities in the hills of western PA.
Beautiful bike Michael and great job on the video Jay!
Thank you!
See you Monday for my amp upgrade and new speakers on my lowers!
Yes sir!
Great video, I love the speeded-up format for the install. I think that's the system I'm gonna go with. Great job Jay, God Bless, Happy Easter! 😇👍
Thank you Ken! God bless and happy Easter!
Sounds awesome!
Thank you!
They sound great
Thank you
I have a 2017 E Glide Ultra Limited, how do I connect the lid speakers? Bought the backbone harness but there is no fitting connection? All. I have are two but they are 12 pin and the harness is a 4 pin??
When you have factory tourpack speakers there is no backbone connector in the fairing, we add this connector on our hertz amplifier harnesses for this very reason, we do sell a tourpack connector and y harness that allows plugging in at stock tourpack plugs volunteeraudio.com/product/metra-bc-9717-hd-ultra-limited-rear-speaker-bypass-harness-for-2014-2023-harley-davidson-motorcycles and volunteeraudio.com/product/metra-bc-9721-rear-3-way-speaker-harness-splitter
@@volunteeraudio well, now I understand. Thanks for the quick answer 👍🏻
That’s awesome 👏
Thank you
Jay have u touched on the Harley recall for the brake switch on new Harley’s they flash the bike thru the radio have u seen or heard of anyone getting this done that unflashes there radio flash ?
You have to always tell the dealer to not flash your radio, they can update the bcm without flashing the radio
Jay, I love these videos. But it always makes my decision that much harder.
My selection of my music is rather vast, and I think these would fit the need perfectly. I have been torn between these, and the Inifity Kappa's.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but going to the Soundstream HU will give me RCA instead of a high level input with a factory HU, correct?
We always go high level in every install, this is always the preferred connection in a Harley
Jay , how much does a typical 4 speaker saddlebag ,head unit with amp install run, ballpark, trying to budget for an install.
There are a lot of variables, call 1-844-30AUDIO to speak with our sales team about options and pricing
I have this same 14 ultra limited and unfortunately ordered this unit from a local audio store (before knowing about volunteer audio, and after install they mentioned that you cannot have this unit with the screaming eagle tuner? Is this an issue that you are aware of? audio works, but wont allow bike to start.
Go into the maestro features menu in the radio, go to gauges, then obd2, select enable obd2 on demand only. This will allow your bike to start and only connect to obd2 when viewing gauges. Try this and you will see it fixed your issue
@@volunteeraudio man you guys are on it, worked perfectly #volunteeradio rocks!!! Much appreciated 🙏
@@josephhutton473 awesome, thank you for watching!
I'm running a sound digital 1200w Amp on a 15 RG with 6 hertz speaker set up 4 6.5s 2 in the fairing 2 in the lowers and 2 6x9s in my saddles. Does the soundstream make difference in the quality of sound? I know the features just wanted to know is it a big difference.I have the same radio I want to swap it out
You would see improvement from the radio but you also need a better cleaner amplifier
Do you do just Harley's motorcycles? Or do you do other motorcycles too?
We work on every type a customer brings to us
OK thank you for responding. I found out about you From Traveling tall.
I want something loud for highway riding. I got a 23 Road Glide Special. Anything you could hook me up with?
We have a lot of options, give our sales team a call to discuss those options 1-844-30AUDIO
What volume do you have the radio at when you do these walk aways? Are you using a phone or Gopro to record? Thanks!
Phone to record, volume 48-49, it’s clean to 50 but the copyright free music is not the quality of Apple Music
@@volunteeraudio All good! I just wanted to see what you do so I can try it. 😁
Humm. Did not install the SI model I wonder Why?
Nobody wants to say why
The customer decided it was not within his budget, we installed an si in the next build on the same day
For most people they may feel like they don’t need the SI for the added cost. Depending on your needs the plus is a complete upgrade regardless. I talked to people who say they need it some say they don’t. Personal preference and how deep your pockets go.
Being a 2014 The SI is a no go. Just be honest
@@lennycriscione6354 we have done many 14’s without issue and if you simply turn obd2 communication to enable on demand the 14 models with issues work fine
This video hurts more than the other ones. I have a 2016 Ultra Limited and also live in Ohio.
It’s like I rode my bike down there myself to get this installed. 😩
Give us a call and we can arrange a similar experience with your bike! 1-844-30AUDIO
