I love the contrast between Mikayla’s wedding and Emily Mariko’s. Emily is a huge influencer yet her wedding was so quiet, peaceful, and lowkey. I don’t think there were any influencers there and while she did post a lot of wedding content, it was very much “quiet luxury” instead of mikayla’s wedding which seemed so obviously promoted by influencers. Really shows how much influencers prioritize their content over their personal lives. Mikayla is so washed up to me.

I love the contrast between Mikayla’s wedding and Emily Mariko’s. Emily is a huge influencer yet her wedding was so quiet, peaceful, and lowkey. I don’t think there were any influencers there and while she did post a lot of wedding content, it was very much “quiet luxury” instead of mikayla’s wedding which seemed so obviously promoted by influencers. This was a party and business transaction… this was not a “wedding”. A wedding is a celebration of 2 souls becoming one in witness of your closest family and friends. It’s a life long promise in-front of those close to you (as witness) that this union will be forever faithful and fruitful.
