This is a lesson for a rudiment called THE HERTA. Sort of rhymes with Roberta but is twice as nice!
A very, very important rudiment; it weaves together a lot of varied concepts!!
'HERTA' is the exercise, 'SHCHEDRYK' the melody..
I call it 'Bertha Hendricks; A Groovy Exercise'!
Love how emotional you get dude, learn alot and also laugh my sack of .Can,t stop laughing at you imitating your Doctor. You are the funniest person on youtube and your only being yourself.

They just keep getting better. Had no idea the Herta/Inverta was the passage to Moellerville, in the county of Morello.
Awesome! Thanks!!
I subscribed for a reason!
So passionate! great teacher; love from France.
Drummers should become Politicians. Because they are Masters of controlling left and right. I like your sensitive nervous Energie. Very cool job man.
He's a gr8 teacher, very knowledgable, but I am afraid to have him as my teacher! he will beat me up if i make a mistake!!!. God Bless you sir. ❤️
Very helpful lesson! Thank you!!
Your instructions are great and made simple. I was taught to use the Moeller technique. Seems more difficult. Your thoughts and keep the instructions coming.
Thanks Chuck!
"Carol of the Bells" is a popular Christmas carol, composed by Mykola Leontovych with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky
Terry, very cool ! Have been away from the kit for 25 years. Recently have been jamming with some awesome people with some skills, your vids have helped a LOT ! Keep them coming man ! Peace
Great vid! From what I've seen on TH-cam I think generally speaking think that: Moeller gets 3 notes/taps in one motion and Push Pull does 2 notes/taps. So maybe that's what makes sense at 15:50 . I think he's doing the Push Pull at this moment
I recognize that snare sound - it's a Ludwig Supersensitive 6.5". It sounds warm and punchy. I have one that I purchased in the mid 1970s from a well known music store in SF. Thanks for the lesson Terry. This pattern is also known as the "Blushda".
BTW: that's quite a drum shop you got.
I'm surprised you didn't show the bonzo fill from out of the guitar solo to chorus in Stairway... Inverted
Herta

my wife loves your joke at the end
Hm, if it´d be inverted with the same stroke pattern just starting from a different stroke..wouldn't it be right to start the inverted pattern with the left hand stroke ? Just asking....
Man I couldn’t imagine playing in front of this guy.. whiplash waiting to happen “not my tempo!!!”
Jim Chapin was the guy that comes to mind. Big time Moeller advocate. I think Freddie Gruber too but not sure.
Chapman? Chapin?
Jim Chafin
