I had a second ear piercing for my 65th birthday and I am thinking of getting a third for my 66th birthday this year. Just do it 💕

Good advice. Pearls are my go to. Fresh-water pearls will go with anything: smart or casual, gold or silver, or any other stones (turquoise, amethyst, amber, etc etc). They elevate any outfit and lighten up your face.

They are so beautiful - some of my favourite gemstones xx

I love the idea of “stacking” a bunch of necklaces of the same length. I seem to have too many chains of one size, and typically find myself going through them one at a time with an outfit, saying ‘not that one, not that one’. NOW? I will try them on in bunches! What a great tip, Alyssa!

I noticed the other week that I wasn't wearing necklaces because I still had them in my 'office work wear' category, and I don't do that any more. They don't seem quite right with my current tops, more casual situations. Thanks for the prompt to experiment again.

Nice presentation. I really admired how you took the three choker-like chains and mixed them together. It made for a very interesting look.

I LOVE the inspo to stack several similar-length necklaces and the longer (not same length) necklaces. Definitely a big visual "score!"

I would have liked more unusual hacks, like mixing coloured bead or summer shells necklaces??? I also go thrifting and buy cheap costume jewelry with an interesting pendant for instance that I can use on another chain (nothing to DIY as I am not very good at it!)... I would welcome more ideas like that so you can wear the same outfit and create very different moods with your choice of jewelry???

I will need to get creative. I almost always keep pendants on their original chain but will mix it up. My moms pearl pendant (which I wore in my wedding ) is on a very thin chain-I will try it on a more substantial one. I have a chunky gold necklace my husband bought me about 30 years ago that I don’t wear enough. I think I can make it more casual by stacking thinner chains OR in the winter, add a longer chain with pendant. You made me really think about this!

I love stacking earrings and rings! I do a chunkier hoop with studs and have dainty chains that can be added with any stud as well. I’ll definitely try the statement ring stack you suggested. I usually stick to smaller rings when I stack but I’m excited to try something new.

A year ago I choose to only wear gold jewelry and buy clothes and pieces with gold accents/hardware. It helped me a lot! Also matching necklaces and bracelets and/or rings and/or earrings makes it east for me. Even if you just go to the store around the corner, I wil wear something! Great tips and love the video!❤😊

You have motivated me to not only recombine my existing clothing… but now my jewelry, too! I actually have stacked the shorter, chunkier necklaces with my crew necks….and always love the effect! Now to pursue the chains and rings…. Awesome!

Great Vlog. I mix up my jewellery I have Indian jewellery from my husband as well as things from England. A few Indian tribal pieces from Orissa which sometimes I'm not sure how to style with western clothing. Just in general jewellery and accessories are so much fun. Thanks😘

I love some of Monica Vinader's designs but I purchased two rings from them and both tarnished badly despite limited and careful use. Their customer service was great, but the quality at the price point is just not worth it.
