I am so reminded of the trinket trading my girls did in the 90s. They had plastic charm necklaces which they could clip their trinket charms onto.
You should just get lots of chain necklaces and small lobster-claw clasps and put the beads and charms you love onto the clasps so that you can move them around as you wish. Sort of like a charm bracelet, but in necklace form.

As a collector of crafts ,I mean crafter...I have is TWO hobbies. 1)collecting crafts supplies 2) actually using them...occasionally. With the beads you could get super pretty glass jars to store them in so while you are procrastinating they are also adding something to the room aesthetically.
Bunny I am the SAME WAY! Especially with crafting supplies. A few years ago i went crazy and bought HUNDREDS of adult coloring books, really good expensive markers, two sets of the best colored pencils out there, etc etc etc. annnnnd then i hardly used them. Many of the books i got I told myself "i am not going to color in these until i get better at coloring" and now they just sit there. then I got into about 1000 other things, such as paints and supplies to do Paint Pouring. I have done that several times now but not as frequently as I had expected. I tend to get frustrated when I think my art isnt good enough then give up for awhile. I drive myself crazy lol

Been down the hurricane gauntlet myself way to much. Had to evacuate during Rita and then during Ike. Moved to Colorado because of my husbands work at the time and I jokingly say it was because of the weather. I am strange in the fact that it is just another day on if evactate or not with hurricanes. Rain storms has always had a calming effect for me.
OH Bunny you would LOVE Joan Miller Porcelain beads. They are so special you have to bid on them when she has an online show. Her Halloween beads especially!

That Polly Pocket fairy comes from another locket! It was glittery and shaped like a butterfly but the same concept as the one you put up on the screen. :) The collection was just called Fairy Fun.... I have an almost complete collection of Polly Pockets still!

I was like that with Kandi beads for a little while I bought them used them a few times then I didn’t touch them for a bit however now I’m very much obsessed with it and love making Kandi singles. I just loved all the different kinds, finishes and shapes you can get with beads it’s just so much fun
I started making jewelry because I couldn't find what I wanted to buy. Just go to Fire Mountain beads and look at chains, clasps, etc to get inspiration (Ringlord has iridescent lobster clasps on the front page right now!) and then just jump in to it! If you think about it, you could get started really easy with your idea of making charm bracelets and necklaces. I would love to see you playing around with charms and chains and buying miniatures to make into charms, but just do it for you if you are nervous about making a video about it. Whatever you decide, you need to give yourself the freedom to create.

I know it was bad. I'm up in new york and it was bad I can't imagine what you had by you. Our roads and subways and stuff were flooded, i saw random things like furniture, and pots and pans floating down the street, and peoples houses are unlivable from the water damage, and people lost a lot. I think that the earth is mad at humans cuz of how a lot of people treat it, so there's more and more serious and dangerous storms more and more frequently and it keeps getting more unpredictable. Stay safe with anything that may get thrown your way. 💛
