living for stationery hauls! just in case someone hasn't mentioned, the orange canvas insert you got actually goes in a travelers notebook. You still need to get an actual cover. The Travelers Notebook brand (Midori is what it's called I believe) cover only has one elastic so if you want to chunk it up, I'd recommend buying a cover with 4 elastics. Chic Sparrow is an excellent place to start! The narrow size should be the one to fit the inserts you just got. Hope this helps!

Fountain pen has a reservoir so you can write a fair bit on one fill...quill needs to be dipped into ink frequently xxx

the orange “flappy thing” is actually a pouch that goes INSIDE a travelers notebook cover.... its an insert just like the notebooks you got. so you need a notebook COVER that will have the strings you’re looking for :)

I have a bad habit of buying sketchbooks with nice paper and new art supplies then not touching them for like a year because I feel guilty messing up the nice new supplies. It always feels like I'm ruining them even though I'm just using them for what they're meant to be used for😅

For the traveler's notebook- there is a 'cover' that you're meant to buy that holds the inserts and some pens and stuff. The cover is leather and what makes it 'travel friendly'. The inserts can totally be used one their own tho!
Isn't the orange leather thing with the flap the cover? But I see no way for it to hold the other sections.

Ha, the goosebumps book. I didn't even realize that that was the hidden thing until I read the comments! 😂 I guess I expected it to be a lot better hidden, as the only one else I've seen doing this is Mr. Ballen, and he hides them so well I can barely see it even when knowing where it should be 😁

Personally love your longer videos. Ok so for the travelers journal (which are so cool) you could use that Halloween orange and black thread to secure it to the cover, for the vellum type paper you could either insert a solid page behind and add like metallic designs on the top layer or notes and have a pic or dark design on the solid page behind it, for the message card one that would be cool to write a nice note when on stops when going on a road trip and hand out to random strangers or ppl whose service was great.for the sticker collection holder the sticker sheets that don’t fit, if you could bring yourself to doing so, just cut off the excess navigating around the stickers and keep in the same sleeve facing the opposite direction. With multiple small sticker sheets so they don’t just stack on top of each other, you could attach them together in a row with a strip of like sticky note papers or a easy to remove tape to the paper or plastic backing. Ok that was long but just some ideas I had while watching your vid 😁 love Ya Ghoul

A few years ago I found a pad (a free gift with Twinkle magazine) no cover just a cute bug in the corner- I was 39 & had ‘kept it nice’ since I was SIX! That’s surely a problem at that point.

LOVE your videos! In case no one else has mentioned it, the reason it did not come with bands is because it’s actually an insert and not a cover. It goes inside of a cover, which comes with bands.
7.26 i really thought that it was going to be more difficult hahahaha i loved it!
A 'quill' pen is a dip pen- a pen that you dip into ink. They used to be made from sharpened feather quills. A dip pen has no ink in it, the nib just picks up a bit of ink when you dip it. A fountain pen has a place to put ink inside the pen- either a converter/cartridge, a built in lil ink tank, or you just fill the body of the pen w ink and close it up really tight.

Lihit Lab does make a punch for those notebooks. Those notebooks also come in a variety of sizes too, some smaller and some larger. Do you have a traveler’s notebook cover to put all your fun new inserts?

You don't have a cover yet thats why there's no rubber bands in there.. that is just another insert to use your bullet journal as a wallet also
There are Punches made for these notebooks. They’re a standard size hole so other brands work as well.
