Not getting in a hurry always helps to get things done! I like to be intentional about when I drop the tail and get it back up. Since I don't have flaps I gotta nit pick, I would use index finger to get carb heat in before letting go of throttle?? Of course I'm not in pavement... Love the videos!
You said "not under 3000ft" in the vid and it made me look, my two favorite T&G runways are 3400 and 3600 feet. It was too much early on, especially with an instructor and a debrief. I like 'em now if I'm simply practicing landings. But what I've been doing lately is landing at a new airport, then pulling off to make sure I'm prepped for the next leg. Plus it's hard to say you've been AT an airport if you only did a T&G :) I've also done a full stop/taxiback when IFR traffic made me nervous or if I've landed long. Gotta be ready for the option. I have a friend who won't do them at all, and they have a lot more experience. Totally fair. (Edit: also, I think it helps with the habits required in a goaround, they are both on that continuum from low approach/goaround to a full-stop landing)

Thanks for watching Karl!

And in something that lands with a lot of aft trim, that’s yet ANOTHER thing to fix on the go. They’re a great way to die if you’re not 100% 🫠
