Loving the tracy wilson look! My sister jodie was one of the last Wilson I read before I stopped reading her books when I grew up, and I really remember the plot because it shocked me to the core. I remember really loving candyfloss too and loving the title so much... I have the diamond girls still on my shelves. I am from a family with four sisters in total, so I loved any book with a big group of sisters. I read illustrated mum without knowing what bipolar meant either but understanding the struggle nonetheless - you put that perfectly. I remember reading so much Wilson and loving her books enough that I had a checklist of her entire backlist and worked my way through it, but I didn't realise how deep they all ran until thinking about it while watching all of your videos!
Aw wow, I'm so jealous of your big family aha, I was so glad I could live vicariously through the Diamond Girls :') And yeah I know what you mean, before the readathon I thought we'd be in for a light-hearted nostalgic week but once you start thinking about it, you realise how impactful her stories were and the deep impressions they left
So many great books here, I can also never pick a single favourite! And I don't remember much from Candyfloss but I remember the chip buttie scene, I loved the way she described food idk why 😂I loved pretty much all the ones you mentioned as well as Secrets, Little Darlings, Cookie and Sleepovers 💗
Little Darlings was one I was so tempted to re-read... I have so many fond memories of them all, it was so hard to pick what to read for the wilsathon :')

I just finished Candyfloss and you are so right everything about that whole world feels so worn and lived in 🥺
Doesn't it!! Must be so fun to adapt her work for the screen aha, so many little details!
These are ones I had ever heard of so I'll definitely have to look into these more. Thanks!
Aw yay! Hope you enjoy them
This video made me feel so nostalgic! I'm so sad I missed the readathon. Can't wait for charity shops to reopen so I can buy my old favourites!

Unlikely expert on these books 📚. I used to read them to my daughter. Great writer 👏 👍.
Aw, lovely! Jacqueline Wilson shaped so many childhoods
"I wasn't an evil kid" ... sounds exactly like something an evil kid would say 😂
.... you caught me :')
Love that we both have My Sister Jodie and Candyfloss as two of our faves, I now want a chip butty! Can't believe wilsathon is already over :(
We must have chip butties when we are finally able to meet
