Nice job finding them in that stained up water! My lakes have been completely opposite they’re low and much clearer than normal. I’ve definitely had to switch up my tactics but it’s been coming together!

Man they hammered that worm ! I always start with a worm it’s the go to bait .That was awesome how it was all flooded like that seems like it really got them searching for food . Thanks for another great video and for keeping it realistic!

You are absolutely right when you said the fish were probably excited and wanting to explore the newly flooded areas in hopes of ambushing their next meal. Fishing flooded water this time of year is great with weightless plastics, especially a fluke style bait that can dart around just under the surface. Great video and very nice catches!
Man that’s so awesome. Down here in Louisiana it’s just consistently too friggin hot, the bass just remain deep. One of my local lakes flooded recently and i tried basically the same approach, no such luck. Really missing the bass action. Which is why Realistic Fishing always comes in clutch.
I switched to circle hooks for wacky rigs because of the same issue of losing bites. The circle hooks made a huge difference for me👍🏻👍🏻 awesome work on the flooded lake 👏🎣
The old “wacky rig” always got me a lot of bites. I missed a lot of hookups, mainly because I don’t like them swallowing the hook, and I would set the hook too early. Then I switched to circle hooks when wacky fishing. Now I rarely lose a fish …… I just have to remember just to start reeling and, don’t try to “set” the hook. Love your videos! …. Not everyone can afford a fancy bass boat ….. thanks!

Man those look like good conditions to get bass to the shore line! I prefer to go with a darker color like a june bug since the water is so muddy but you got good results!

@@RealisticFishing first time I fished Percy Priest the water was 12 feet higher than normal! Everything was under water, even the boat launches. I caught a Wiper around 7-8 pounds plus some largemouth fishing in what was basically a flooded forest!

Its 7/15 and we have finally some steady rain coming in. O that was a beauty that you missed goodness. You had just another amazing day of fishing. As always keep it Realistic

I was having the same issue; missing fish same hook with weed guard. The wacky rig is fine but try it without the weed guard. Good Luck! I enjoy your videos, low stress and Realistic.

Last time I tried fishing flooded back like that I couldn't pay to catch a fish, but you caught the snot out of them.

That's a good day. Colorado is drought-free for the 2nd time in 20 years. My July is sucking, as far as fishing goes.
My local spots been getting hit with alot of rain , the water levels way up. Its been fun figuring out the fish in those conditions.

One of my local lakes got high/muddy like this a few years back, got one on a spinner bait.

Alex it's the hook weed guard. I had better luck taking them off. but very nice fish's.

Some of my rivers an lakes are closed this year in fresno ca so my realistic fishing has not been easy but that's what it is keep it realistic .
