Heads up, I'ver heard from several people in comments and messenger that they did not get a commander deck in recently purchased cubes. I don't know if they bought a similar looking cube than this but on the two in this video it clearly states Commander Deck on the packaging. If you don't receive a commander deck then it's false advertising and I would contact MJ Holdings.
I check my walmart and nothing only tons of pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm pretty sure there is a guy or guys that work at my Walmart that are into MTG. I only see empty displays when I go there.
Really? No one's understanding it's for packaging and advertising? So it perfectly lets you think you can move the deck with enough space to get your mind hooked on the idea that you need to know what's inside--yet not enough room for you to actually see the decks and only scour good ones, thus making you buy it.
I picked up two of these at my local walmart. They were both 2016 commande decks. Stalawart Unity and Open Hostility, but they were both in Japanese. My brother got one too. It was a Warhammer deck. I don't remember which one.
I found 3 at Walmart locally, of the 3 supposedly commander guaranteed cubes, only 2 had actual commander decks in them, western red white and the painbow commander decks….third had a pre setup commander helper pack but was overall content with getting those two out of three….nelly borca, Impulsive accuser+ Jared carthelion….i took the best cards of both those decks to make a rather mean 5 color chromanticore deck
@@JoeyMossBBG it was weird but meh, got two good commander decks out of it and when merged the good cards together it was a rather brutal deck….one of the two decks I made for playing this week, other one combines shrines and rooms….which ended up downright broken
Went on a 4 hour journey to 5 different Walmarts and found 2. Got the necron dynasty war hammer deck (roughly $150+) and a baldurs gate party time deck (roughy $95)
I have found a couple each time I go to the 2 Wal-Marts near me… I have bought 5 and I saw 2 more at Wal-Mart again today. Sometimes you can tell which deck it is with a little research and other times it’s just a complete mystery.
I found two that had Streets of New Capenna Collector Sample Packs and a sealed deck that looked less that 100 cards and had a knight token as the face card. Left them on the shelf.
My brother and I bought 3 of these. I pulled one of the war hammer decks and he pulled two 2016 commander decks that were all in Japanese. I checked the Walmart near me and it looked like two had 60 card decks. And I've been able to slide them to where I could see the commander for the most part too.

Never had a lot of luck with the mystery commander decks, but these look pretty juiced compared to most. Do you have Meijer stores in your area? They often have the MJ Holding mystery products.
I got one for my friend so he could play commander. I didnt even get a commander deck in it, i got 5 white jumpstart packs all jumbled into what looked like a commander deck, and 80 sleeves. Not ever buying the mystery garbage stuff again.

They are not stocking the shelves with enough, and they sell out mad quick. My Wal-Mart had 4 the other day, i bought 2 and both were Warhammer 40K Forces of the Imperium decks.
I opened one and it wasn’t even a commander. It was a goblin deck with no legendaries, and multiple copies of spells. I’m guessing for standard? Who could I call to get what I was expecting to buy?
I ended up buying three of these before I saw this video. I bought 2 initially and both had issues. The first deck was missing 1 card while the second deck was entirely in Japanese (no wonder they won't let you see). While cool, the Japanese deck is unplayable bc I can't read the language. I'll at least use the goat tokens from it for one of my decks. Went back and grabbed one more which turned out to be a nice Rakdos Vampires deck and the other playable deck was a Boros equip. I don't have the names of the decks on me but if you were to buy any of the three I pulled in their original packaging they'd range $60-$90.

The older decks that don't have tokens included are skinny enough that you can read the commander. Have seen Mind Seize and Evasive Maneuvers from Commander 2013.

Just bought the only four at my local WM, pulled the undead army, bedecked brokers, evasive maneuvers, and forces of the imperium precons. What caught my eye was the accidental collector booster sample pack that was left in the new cappena box. Pulled a full art getaway car from that.

Sleeves are essentially useless lol. 80 old sleeves means that you can either use them on a standard deck and have 20 random sleeves. Or try find another pack of those sleeves so you can do the full 100. Because you can’t just use 20 other sleeves as it’d be seen as cheating.
I watched some of these videos so I was excited when I saw one at my local walmart my Wyleth (shitty) deck came with NO COMMANDER only 99 cards. Total bullshit

My Walmart had 4 , I bought all 4 for $120 , ALL 4 I repeat ALL 4 were mono white standard decks valued at $23 on Amazon DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GARBAGE. You might get lucky , buying singles will always be more worth it , don’t be like me.

If you look through the side you can see the decks that aren't 100 cards, there's extra space because the deck is smaller

About a year ago, I was able to see through one cube at Walmart and it was the UR Dragon Commander deck, was an instant buy!
