Calea Victoriei...I' ve been there thousands of times, for about 40 years. It didn't change very much. My home was Calea Victoriei no.101.
Oh my Got ! CAPSA ! how many times I have eaten there....Odeon Theater was formerly Teatru National.
Biblioteca Nationala where I red so many books, Carol' statue is new, Atheneul where I heard for the first time Yehudi Menuhin at a Festival Enescu, and the Athenee Palace.

This brought back a lot of memories. I've been on this walk a couple times - usually waking in the opposite direction. I had an apt on Strada Cuza Voda south of Unirea Shopping Center. A good friend lives in sector 6 and I visit whenever I can. April/May is a beautiful time there. Their parks are especially beautiful. Thank you - fond memories.

Street names are not translated. Denumirile strazilor nu se traduc. So... Deci... Calea Victoriei

Numele strazilor nu se traduc. Deci nu este Victoriei Street si Calea Victoriei si nu este Unirii Square ci Piata Unirii.
