The industry was NEVER ready for VIXX. These men would FUCK. IT. UP. TODAY. They’re dynamic, handsome, tall as fuck, and-with the exception of Honggie, I guess-relatively unproblematic. And they have the stage presence of GODS. They’re such an amazing group.

They have come up with so many music and visual styles & concepts that have become trends, that is how this works, if you have followed VIXX from the beginig you should already know this. I guess you could say their whole concept was ahead of its time since it was only after them that people started seeing that concept and liking it. "Ahead of this time" does not take away anything from VIXX nor does it take away from the fact that they had a good and very unique concept.

Vixx is so uncredited for so many things about kpop today. Without Vixx, a lot of the style trends in kpop wouldn't exist today or be popular (example: the choker, harness, bdsm-wear type outfits). Along with their sound and music video production, they were ahead of their time. They were pioneers in the dark concept and sexy concept as well and helped popularize fashion with bdsm-like accessories.
This is one of the few 3rd gen boy group songs that actually ages well, it still sounds fresh and modern even in 2022
One addition to this is that the 'bdsm' style was done already the year before by History's track "Psycho" but the overall concept was different. "Chained Up" is style and concept together, whereas "Psycho" is style with the concept of rubber-room crazy.
The dark concept had been approached already with chokers and the like by BIGBANG with Monster and Jaejoong with Mine, but VIXX undoubtedly made it a thing of their own and as a group they have had a bigger impact than people care to admit. I mean, there would be no Monsta X, Ateez, Stray Kids and many others, without VIXX concepts.

Vixx has and always will be my #1 all time favorite K-pop Band and the only one I love and they're one of my top favorite Boy Bands of all time in general. They are equal to Backstreet Boys, Five, and N'sync. They are insane legends and I'll forever love and miss them terribly! Long live the greatest K-Pop Boy Band of all time! There will never be another like them ever again!
Hongbin is the only one who left, Ravi and N are just in different companies. The group still has five members.

If the rest of VIXX make a comeback then it would have to be a time N isn't so busy with acting projects so he can be involved with the comeback. Ravi pretty much has his own company so I think he can make his own schedule. They can still have a contract with VIXX and have a contract with s different company. It definitely makes it harder though. I hope all 5 VIXX can comeback soon and they have that chance since nobody is in the military right now and before Ravi and Hyuk have to go. I hope Ravi and N can make time in their schedule to have a comeback with VIXX

Still come back to watch this masterpiece from time to time, VIXX was an amazing group (I know they still exist, but I am not going to acknowledge that because there is only 4 of them left), I’m not into kpop anymore, but their songs are just so good
VIXX did what NO ONE ELSE was doing at the time. They tapped into the darker side of our emotions and gave them life. They gave light and creativity for artists today to explore and be that much more vulnerable. Costumes, Concepts, Vocals, Lyrics!!? THEY GAVE THEM AND SOME! Put some RESPECT on VIXX.

VIXX big fanbase is in Korea, and I think they prefer streaming in digital Korean music platform and watching MV in Naver. I also remind you that Starlights are MOSTLY adult and mature person now. We have family, works, college and others to care about. We support VIXX in many ways, for example: buy their album as one of real support, send love to their individual works, and also become one of the best, kind and peace fandom that VIXX will be proud.
So I hope youtube mv's views won't be a standard that makes any Starlights sad or disappointed.

I don't care that VIXX isn't the most popular group with the most popular songs. I don't care that even when I show my friends VIXX they just sleep on them and go listen to the more popular groups. VIXX is different, it makes them stand out. No group sounds like them. Even when others don't see it. Starlights know how special VIXX is. They are so special. All it does is make me hold on to my boys tighter because they have a fan for life here. Nobody has been able to convince me that there is a better group then VIXX. And I'm never gonna let them go 😢

VIXX is so ahead of its time of pre 2017 kpop.. the concepts they do is what 4th gen groups are doing nowadays, but their sound is very much rooted to Gen 2 to early Gen 3 kpop. :) best of both worlds
