I bought a simple express card off ebay that adds a further USB 3 ports. plugged it in, installed the drivers that came with card and its worked like a charm since day one, hey presto 3 more USB ports !
My suggestion for cleaning the keyboard (Pepsi syndrome), is using a toothbrush and rubbing alcohol. Put the alcohol in a small dish, dip the brush in and clean using small amounts, so as to allow for fast dissipation of the alcohol. I have used this technique for cleaning electronics assemblies and general de-greasing for years. It is also helpful to blow off residual alcohol and dirt, with a gentle air spray.
Do you have any videos on upgrading a CF-31 MK2 to win 10 from win7? I know i can do it, but i don’t want to lose any panasonic programs or functionality.
You would need to do a fresh clean full version reload of the unit. That would basically wipe the hard drive clean before loading. You can always download the #Panasonic utilities direct from their website.

Hi Barbara, it depends on the generation of CF-31 you have and it's features. If you plan to use Bluetooth earbuds, you will need Bluetooth capabilities (your CF-31 may or may not have this). If you plan to use headphones with a cable, you will need a headphone jack on the computer.
I recently picked up a CF-31 MK1. it does not have any USB 3.0 available on it. I had noticed that MK3 came with one USB 3.0 port, would I be able to use a mk3 replacement part to replace one of the 2.0 USB ports?

Will your laptop turn on at all? If not it's probably a drained battery.
