Thank you for a comprehensive review of the new camera. Here is an important point to keep in mind, in my opinion, for prospective buyers. I've been a happy owner of the Insta360 One X and continue to get a lot of bang for my buck. The only regret is that when I purchased, I didn't purchase some accessories that quickly became discontinued by the manufacturer. So keep this in mind. As innovative as Insta360 has been, they have been less than awesome when it comes to keeping stock of dedicated accessories such as audio adapters. Get them now if you plan on getting the camera.
I have the X2 it is one of funnest cameras I've ever used. It may be the single best Multiplatform social media camera ever b/c you can change the aspect ratio so easily. The video quality is not the best, but adequate for most social media applications. I don't think I'll be "upgrading" though. IMHO neither the one inch model nor this model offer any significant upgrade in picture quality. It's nice they are moving things forward though.
1) Is it still noisy even at iso 100 just like X2? 2) Timelapse mode at what fps? Can we use it for google streetview? 3) No built in gps, right? 4) Thanks! :)
What I was hoping for were removable lens covers. Something I could just unscrew (like the good old DJI osmo action 1) and replace after it got dammaged. It's not technically impossible, it's only more complicated to design and the camera would be probably more expensive. But hey, it's still cheapper than buying a plastic covers every month or sending the camera back to the support for replacement. That's IMO.
Nice! Excellent review. I was doubting if the X3 was the successor of the One X2 and you clarified it. I hope they improved night videos, the main complain of my One X along with the microphone. All the rest is super cool and allows you to make easily an incredible video of the most stupid situation if you are bored, not to mention if you also plan it or you are in a nice place. I bought it specifically to make tourism around New York and it didn't disappoint 😁 I will try to upgrade by next Black Friday
Had x1 and current have x2. The usability is still bad on x2 with its tiny circular screen... I think this will be a game changer if we can operate the menu like you do if you're using a smart phone.
Please please i beg you. I trust you make a video about how you store your vids and photos…i have an iphone but im scared of cloud. I also have a camera and have saved stuff on ssd…but now its getting out of hand. Please help make a video that shows whats best way to store and backup our photogrpahy /work cant risk losong any of that!!!
The way I do it, not that you should care, I wirelessly transfer my favorite pictures from my camara to my I phone so I can always look at them, the rest of videos and photos (gopro, insta360, sony camaras) I back up to my computer then to an external 8TB hard drive, then I make a exact copy of the drive and keep it at a different address, so when my house gets broken in to ( I live in LA) I’ll still have a copy. 😊 I number my files this way to keep the. Hey Arthur! I prefer to watch your review rather than many other flashy TH-cam reviewers that keep selling every camera as the best one you need.

Do a review after firmware 1.035 it's gotten greater
I always thought you had class… then I saw the LS430 and your high class status has been solidified. One of the greatest cars ever made.

ye, it's still something to replace but those plasticky protectors are super dooper fragile. And the image quality gets lower.

Mmm 🤔 Looks very similar to the x2, its just shape differently. I love the x2, there is nothing like it!
Theta X copy
Bet you got a lot of "I wouldn't touch that with a ten-foot pole" comments, eh?
아서! 아주 좋은 리뷰야!

Hmm - "invisible" selfie stick but the shadow isn't!
Indeed!

@@Primeros1000 thanks for your input appreciate it. So basically you dont use cloud backup at all?
AN other content capturing device/camera to capture your pocket.
What happened to the camera, lens reviews ?
Are you simply trying to speed up the demise of "true camera"?
everything is ok, but the presentation of the material is boring. Have you forgotten inspiration?
