Would Appreciate if you explained the sums done till the end answer, which you leave half way, cause there are many who has absolutely no idea and are learning with no background on probability in a short time so though it may be easy for some with some background , if your idea is to explain probably made sense to explain it thoroughly. Hope this is taken as a good constructive feedback.
literally enter it into a calculator, I like that it's concise, but hey you got 24 likes so maybe people need to be shown how to use a calculator? seems trivial but whatever
frankly speaking, permutations and combinatios will be covered in 11th and 12th, as u r in 10th (guessed coz u dint know how to solve the ans), you will have to wait, coz the same topic is goint to bee repeated again in engineering. I guess, he explained it, believing viewers are aware of the topics required to solve it. Am not blaminng you tho...
?? He solved P(2) just 5 sec before after which he said "solve this" in which you've to calculate P(1) ??? He showed how to solve for P(X) then solved for X equals 2 you can just put the value of X =1 ....if you didn't understand the technique you should watch the video again.🙃🙃he did solve it for one value you just have to put 1 instead of 2 to get P(2)
I have an my final exam in like 5 hours and im here trying to understand the topic😂anyways it helped alot.. If you know which variable means what you can easily put the values in formula. Thanks!
Hey! Shrenik jain I really appreciate your effort! You made everything so simple and interesting. After watching your videos of any topic like probability, digital design, communication system, I hardly found any doubt and the concepts are really taught in a simple and elegant way. Thanks a lot!
I actually love this channel from day one when I saw the first-ever video on this channel...I remember I was going t had the test and I came for the search for poisson distribution study...and I'm glad that I found this channel...I loved watching and understanding topics from you. thank you so much may God bless you!
In sampling a large of parts manufactured by a machine, the mean number of defectives in a sample of 20 is 2. Out of 1000 such samples, how many would be expected to contain at least 3 defective parts.
I've got some videos over on my channel about each of these, when they arise, and why they're important. Perhaps they would help you? The binomial one is called Why the Binomial Distribution is Important. The other titles are similar. Let me know if you have any questions.
Because it is easy to find the answer against large number.ex: n is 10 and they told you to find atleast 2 than by doing 2 to 10 it is easy way to do 1-p(0,1). So you get answer easily with in a short period.
In binomial distribution times of repeatation is small i.e x should be small like 10, 20 but in Poisson distribution x is large(1000,2000) and probability of success is small...
Binomial distribution has 4 conditions: 1- a fixed # of trials 2- the trials must be *independent* 3- all outcomes must be classified into two categories(ie: Girls/boys, or success/ fail) 4- and finally that the probability must be constant for every trial
bro I already understood that formula but how to complete this formula I mean how to calculate all the values we put into the formula. if you elaborate the steps to solve it I will be really thankful to you 🙏.
sir im having trouble in the example 1 you gave about binomial distribution in condition no 2 where the question was at least 2 defective pens for at least or we mention that from 3 to 6 pens are defctive or conditions like this how we solve it for p of x

and how did you get the solution of the second one?

How do we know where to apply Binomial distribution, Poissons and Normal ??
I've got some videos over on my channel about each of these, when they arise, and why they're important. Perhaps they would help you? The binomial one is called Why the Binomial Distribution is Important. The other titles are similar. Let me know if you have any questions.
Good job bro your work help me alot in my final exam
This is the best video for business statistics
P is not success. It is the 'probability of success'. Similarly q is the 'probability of failure' not failure.
What does C in the formula stand for?
I have an exam tomorrow. And this helped me so much! Thank you!!
how to further the calculate that equations ie..12C2....
in summ no. 1,2,3...
You can easily calculate that by using your scientific calculator.
nCx = n!/(n-x)!
Why do we apply 1-p(0) when the question is given p(at least on set)
Because it is easy to find the answer against large number.ex: n is 10 and they told you to find atleast 2 than by doing 2 to 10 it is easy way to do 1-p(0,1). So you get answer easily with in a short period.
(1-0.2)=0.8
How can we identify that this is a question of binomial distribution?
Yeah l am also confused about this
In binomial distribution times of repeatation is small i.e x should be small like 10, 20 but in Poisson distribution x is large(1000,2000) and probability of success is small...
it can be given a two options like ( 2 or 4 )

1- a fixed # of trials

3- all outcomes must be classified into two categories(ie: Girls/boys, or success/ fail)
4- and finally that the probability must be constant for every trial

a random variable x is binomially distributed with mean 4 and standrad deviation √2.4 what is the probability that more than half trials are successes
honestly speaking in love your style of teaching
th-cam.com/video/E83zwv5VB2I/w-d-xo.html
P means success but u mention p is deficit in 1/10 q means failure but u mention remain 1/10 is 9/10
This really helped a lot. Looking forward for sums related to mean and variance of binomial distribution.
how to solve ncx
Have a video of nominal distribution??
