- A viewer requested some tips for final impressions. I asked a number of residents and mentors for their own tips. As well, I took a look through the literature, and textbooks (Summit (Operative Dentistry) and Schillingburg (Prosthodontics)) for other helpful tips. This will be in 3 parts.
Here is Part 2: • Crown Impression Tips ...

Myself as well - what year did you graduate? This is the problem with opinions of instructors not giving any guidance whatsoever regarding "other techniques" available..... and after school, you're left to decide by yourself what is best.
when i was in school we weren't allowed to use triple trays... at least not me.
i made a full arch custom tray for my first single crown impression. Took a good 5 minutes prying it off with PVS impression material. LOL
i wish you would use a video editor to make this a more smoother video... (like a script etc..)
I like your videos.Could you explain how abutments are parallel to each other in dental bridge preparation
Hi Do you know the name of the green material he's using for the impressions ?
Additionally, no one really describes how to review the literature in a useful, fast, practical manner to aid in solving clinical decisions. Is the literature the bible - heck no - there are lots of controversies, opinions, and money at stake. Does it help? Definitely. Thanks for the comment. A
Hi What Is The Name of the green material ??
LaShiia Dyer this is called polyvinyl siloxane. There are hundreds of brands available. Honestly - the world is moving to digital scanning of teeth so hopefully, this will become outdated! Digitally scanning is much easier for the patient and provider. Thanks for your questions!
Is it like a clay ??
