I first beat this game in June 2020. I loved it so much I remember on may 29 2020 it was a Saturday I was board and I was trying to beat halo 2 after beating halo ce in march. I was on the heretic and after 10 hours I beat every mission from the heretic to the end. I loved the story so much that I didn't stop after that I kept going and ended up beating half of halo 3 as well It was a fun day.
I wish I could too, my first rodeo (actually all of it until I got the MCC) with Halo 3 was through a French version because that was the only one I could get my hands on (living abroad) and so a lot of the moments were lost on me then.

For a halo noob, Milo was absolutely Spot on about some of his Predictions. Especially the one involving the idea that Cortana was Tainted by the Gravemind.
Gonna be honest. Halo 4 was my first Halo game, I was like 7 or something when I played it. A year later I tried Halo 3, and it was fucking awesome. Had a lot of fun watching the stream last week, and I gotta say I was sort of blown away by the amount of things MrRoflWaffles noticed and picked up on. I'm usually that guy who leaves like multi-paragraph comments on people's LP's about small details or lore tidbits they missed, and honestly almost all of the things I WOULD have said for his Halo 3 LP, MrRoflWaffles already noticed and came across, often not even because you or JC pointed it out, but because MrRoflWaffles was just that observant and took his time to notice small environmental details or trigger the missable dialog. I did end up mentioning a few spoiler-free things in the comments, along with insight into H3's development issues and Staten's lack of involvement in 3, but compared to the massive list of tiny environmental storytelling details and narrative forshadowing bits I pointed out in the comments of the H2 VoD (which apparently MrRoflWaffles liked enough to pin said commnet), I had way less to point out (and even for Halo 2, he noticed waaaaaaay more then most people, it's just that H2 has so much more missable stuff then 3 too) I do think it's a shame that playing in Co-Op meant he couldn't hear all of the Arbiter's scripted dialog lines, but it is what it is... Anyways, Hiddenexperia, if you join him and JC for the lore/easter-egg/terminal stream, I hope you have him read all the Legendary terminals for H3 there. He already saw the last one with Mendicant Bias's message to Chief, of course, but I think he'd dig the others with MB and The Gravemind talking to each other too. He's also GOTTA see the Scarab gun from H2, and the cut Halo 2 High Charity warthog run that modders restored might be fun too!

Whose the scariest creature in Halo: Flood? Nooooooo
The Flying Dumpster.
Noooooooo
The monkeys in Sierra 117
About two weeks ago, i played the scarab section with my 8 year old nephew and he was dumbstruck by the scarab bossfight. His jaw literrally hung open when it blew up.
Do you mean Halo 2’s scarab section, or one of the Scarab bosses in Halo 3?
“She can’t be evil that’s not allowed” I’m dead af did he know about halo 5 or was that real
At first I thought it was dumb to start him on halo 3 but then I remembered that was my first halo game
You probably already know by now but he has played Halo 1 and 2 before this. The streams are up on his channel
HX looks like a proud father when JC and RW start going berserk. When you look into his camera he has the face of "I have seen this many times, not that impressive" or he is just distracted and the others are so into the game its crazy!
Currently taking a buddy through all the Halo campaigns in the MCC. As a classic game collector i was shocked he never at least played CE. He loves it so far btw.
This was my first game ive ever played online. Blew my mind. So glad i lived through the Halo 3 era as a youth.
I love how jc tried to do the raygun ee from waw in halo lol
Reminds me, on that battle between you in a hornet and two scarabs, I had this one marine with a rocket launcher that had stuck by me for the longest time, didn't even die, he was my buddy.
I love this so much, seeing new people now a days enjoying halo 3 so much. And slightly feeling the same thing as we did as kids & teens
This was very entertaining & y’all were a funny trio goofing around. So cool that JC & Milo could chill with you, I definitely enjoyed Milo’s reaction & theorizing.
Keep it up, man!! Much love 🤘🏼
Bro is this guy just gonna figure out everything by himself. Love it.
This was wonderfully wholesome. I loved it.
That dumpster became the Tardis, and Milo has a 10 in perception.
I love your facial expression throughout the entire video because it's the same one I have: they face of someone who played the original trilogy thousands of times and still have that big smile. This was such a treat! I played almost all the halo games recently again with my gf and I had this same exact face and it was one of the best experiences.
Was super fun to watch would love to see more of this with him playing the rest of the series
Went through this with one of my friends who grew up without an Xbox. We played through the entire MCC and it was a blast.
1.) he suspects maybe Gravemind is a god
2.) he suspects Gravemind was something else before he was Gravemind
Literally just combine these two and he more or less got it. That’s insane wtf?! Dude is paying ATTENTION
That dude was so quick at catching on to the lore and extra stuff about halo. Fantastic
The Halo games are special to so many of us. It’s awesome to see someone experience them for the first time. Reminds me of my reaction to Halo 3 14 years ago.
18:09, yes I agree, I happen to think robots can be quite adorable 😊
people who never played halo 3 are really missing the best of campaign gaming
1:10 - now that's a reference I was not expecting, and I am so proud I instantly knew exactly what you were talking about.
I just realised in the covenant mission at the end with Johnson escaping a body flys out of the pelican and just stands still mid air.
It took me 10 years to understand Halo lore on the level Milo did in this video
I want to actually cry... seeing someone copletely new to a game enjoy it as much as me and my brother did when we were kids... that same feeling... its just priceless
Ps: good job figuring out the lore by yourself without even reading about it i am utterly impressed
Damn, we got halo tubers and cod zombies youtubers together, this shit is insane
Ngl. His theory on the "gods and demons" line from Cortana actually makes a weird bit of sense honestly.
in 2020 my boyfriend and i couldn’t see each other very often because of the pandemic, so when we ran out of movies to watch, he streamed every single halo game for me to watch. Halo 3 was my favorite. Now in 2021 we were able to play together in person and we tried to go through every campaign before i left for university. We made it to Halo 3 but i had to leave before we finished. i can’t wait to see him again and finally finish it
Finish the Fight
@@jacobvalentine2339 we finished playing it last weekend and then he broke up with me yesterday lol
@@fruitfr0g521 Oh jeez, I'm sorry to hear that. I just went through a break up too in June. Hope you're doing okay
@@jacobvalentine2339 Thanks, dude. It’s rough. I’m going through my first heartbreak on top of being homesick and going to school. Also now I have no one to play any of the games with bc he has the xbox. But life goes on. I hope you are doing better as well.
0:33 Did Luc just say hello there? 👀
General Kenobi
The amazing grenade throw by the grunt in the beginning was the best part for me lol. I didn't think they could yeet a nade that far
It's now my head cannon that 2 elites accompanied chief and laughed there heads of when he was fighting for his life
when he said cool name, my 1st thought was all the times "Spartan laser kill you thru rock" happened in pvp.
Thank you I really enjoyed this after my first 2 year serious breakup nice edits keep it up :)
Can''t wait for you to stream the Halo Infinite flight in JUST 4 days!!!
The clip of Xperia getting stuck with the grenade was perfect
29:35 I think Milo is just thinking, "Which organism the flood must have consumed that became the gravemind".
There is no way he could have thought about the "Precursors" in first playthrough of Halos.
Fam thanks mr xp for recapturing the magic and nostalgia that is experiencing coop halo 3 for the first time again 🥲❤️
This is just like when I was showing my friends the halo series in one summer. Best day, of my, life.
Greatest game of all time.
That grunt gat a good throwing arm and a triple kill
What an amazing stream it was lol. Hopefully, you're doing the Halo 4 run-through with them too! Great video man
I watched the stream live but I'm gonna watch this video to support my boi
you missed the most funniest section when you left. the Warthog run was the best. Milo's driving was pure AI XD
How the hell is he so good at guessing. I played the game for a decade and never even thought of some of the things he said until your vids got me into the lore.
your friends reactions is exactly how I felt back then. dope. I enjoyed that video so much mah man
2:10
Hidden xperia: stands still
Grunt: so you have chosen death
the words in the error message when the terminal kicks you out are always interesting, i dont hear too many people mention it
Man Johnson and Doms deaths will literally make me cry every single time I see it.
2 of my favorite things cod zombies and halo happy to see you play together
For a brief moment I got to experience Halo 3 for the first time again vicarioously through Milo. When I play through the game on my own, I forget how magical it was to first experience the game from start to fiinsh. I wasn't prepared for how emotional I would get watching this haha
Great vid and shoutout to the editor! So cool to see people experience Halo for the first time!
Geez i loved watching you guys play this together on Milo's stream. I was also surprised how much Milo was able to piece together without knowing the majority of the lore. Can't wait for all of you to play more together.
This is the best documentary I've ever seen!
I'm quite surprised there wasn't a reaction to the first flood conversion on floodgate.
