These RM80's when you hit the powerband are insanely fast ! Back in 82 one of my friends raced an older friend on his 82 YZ125J and beat him in a drag race because of the power to weight ratio.. These are extremely quick mini bikes !!! Back then l had a 78 YZ80E.. It had nothing against this 81 RM80.. Neither did another friends 1980 CR80RA..
Boy I miss that sound. I used to own this bike. It had a powerband like no other!
