The AC drier/receiver is somewhat hidden in a Ford Focus. This video will guide you through replacing it.

Ok wait why is that called a reciver drier those are only on the high side for liquid refrigerant. That's an accumulator I don't know why the company is calling it that. Also That is a tank to store the liquid refrigerant if cooling demand isn't so high. It's designed to turn the liquid refrigerant into a vapor because if it enters the compressor as a liquid it will destroy it. putting that insulator around it makes it harder for it to turn into a vapor. Idk I'm very confused but maybe I'm missing something please let me know.
Edit: btw I like your vid

If it was meant to have insulation it would have came that way from the factory but none of them do for a reason you definitely don't want to wrap it with anything😂

How did you find out this drier was bad? I'm having issues with my car not taking freon

I put a tracer in and with a black light saw it appear around the schrader valve.

If it's not taking Freon your compressor is bad

Not necessarily. The low pressure switch could be bad, preventing the compressor from turning on. Or the pressure could legitimately be too low for the compressor to kick on. You can temporarily jump it to test.
