Each song from Oddinary totally deserves this analysis, even if it will take you guys forever to finish it! 😉 I enjoy how you breakdown the structure of the songs and point out the instrumentation. I know what I enjoy about their music, but having your take always makes me listen to a song differently. Not to set the bar, but if Oddinary was impressive I really think you will find Maxident new and innovative. The album is another set of fantastic music. Just start at the beginning and work your way through, like you did with Oddinary. My fave tracks depend on the day of the week, but Chill and Taste will be towards the top. 3Racha, Give Me Your TMI, are AMAZING. CASE 143 is in a class on it's own. And Can't Stop and Super Board are a different side that is just so much fun. Enjoy the last of Oddinary!
Thank you so much for reacting to Lonely St in depth, I really liked hearing about the stacked chords and the difference between the vocals sounding close in, or far off, it helped me understand part of why I like it. And I keep forgetting about it because it doesn't fit easily into a lot of the playlists that I usually put Skz on, so this was a nice reminder. Also, a lot of reactors just dismiss this one as "nice enough, I guess they were trying for a pop hit".....It's funny that none of the songs the fans of hardcore Skz tag that way, are ever their big hits, I don't think they are trying for a different audience, they just don't put themselves in a box, if they make a song they like that doesn't fit their image, they just put it out anyway--The Tortoise and The Hare, Lonely Street, Winter Falls, things like that. My favorites from the Maxident album are Taste, then 3Racha. It's taken me a bit to get really into the rest of the album, it has a bright pop feel to it that initially turned me a bit off, but on further listening, it's got the usual Skz subversion of expectations, and a lot of earworms, more so than usual I think.
I had the exact same reaction to the Maxident album. I loved the unit songs instantly and Superboard, but it took me a while to fully appreciate the others. I missed some of the grittier sounds that I love from Stray Kids, particularly in their older stuff. However, with repetition, I came to fully feel their flavour in the other songs.

You’ll actually hear a lot more pop rock, rock, and pop-punk sounds in some of their other songs yayaya definitely has some rock vibes for the beat one of their singles Time Out definitely gives 2000 pop-punk vibes (that’s one of my favorite songs because I love 2000s pop-punk like blink-182 and simple plan)

This song doesn't have a bridge 🧐 so when it ends it feels abrupt. I was always curious why it is like that, however I like it a lot. But it wasn't like that at first because the bridge is one of the parts that I like the most in a song. I think I appreciate it because I like the sound, the lyrics and the use of autotune (I love how SKZ uses it) NICE ANALYSIS!

I think you are missing out if you don’t read the lyrics. Stray Kids always have good lyrics, and this song in particular has a strong message.
