The most that could be done back then was selling hint line minutes and magazines with cheat codes. Console games couldn't even be patched until the next generation - and even then it was incredibly rare.
And even when they stopped doing that, the track design was pretty underwhelming. At least this crap was exclusive to the Switch but that's not a good thing since this game and the fanbase deserved better.

Mount Gulug's theme was a rendition of Mt. Gulg from FF1. Also this game came out in 1999. 9 was in 2000.
